I'm gonna make a massive guess and reckon it says 'sport products'

based off nothing but the length of the two words under the text and from googling the futuro logo

That's actually not a bad guess I reckon. I have seen the following 'tags' on products and advertisements in my research:
'FUTURO Live Well' (current)
'FUTURO Support Your Active Life (late 90s)
'FUTURO Sport' (late 90s)
'FUTURO Products'
'FUTURO Suporte Articulares'

That last one is interesting... as it translates to Support Joints or Joint Support. I have found an old Sports Illustrated advertisement with the old logo (so fits the era), and all products contain the following: 'Sports', 'Support', and various joints, e.g. 'Knee'/'Ankle'/'Elbow'

I reckon it has to be one of the following as they match closely based on word length in the photos, plus they also match with what was on the products of the era.

At the end of the day though, it is all just educated guessing. Same with the 'SeaLink' and 'EDS' thing I mocked up. Frustrating... we will probably never know. Haha

Thanks to mfcrox 's research we now have the back sponsor logos starting to take shape.

Nice work
Just this Toyota logo with a different font than usual was used from 2001-2009.

If we're talking 1997 then I've found it.

Bridgestone.

The shorts sponsors were different in the pre season to the regular season.
mfcrox I think the only hope of finding out what the PS short sponsor was is to hope some on can get HQ vesions of the photos above that Gibbsy posted

Yeah, it is a long shot. We'll see how we go :-)

I have found two mistakes on the footyjumpers.com website, and I make these comments to see that they are corrected and that this important assist is correct like it most often is.

The first one is with the sponsors on the 1991 Hawthorn Jumper. It isn't that the wrong sponsor is used, it is that the version for that year wasn't used. I know this is true because the 1991 Hawthorn Jumper was the first jumper I purchased. In 1990 the Household Finance logo changed to a brown rectangle shape with a triangle on the front. In 1991 the Hawthorn logo was added to the Household Finance logo on the jumper. Below is how the 1991 Hawthorn Jumper is displayed on footyjumpers.com, then how it should be shown and visual proof of the jumper being worn in 1991.

The second one is the logo on the back of the Sydney Premiership Centenary jumper worn tonight. The logo on the back is actually the South Melbourne Football Club logo with was used on the club jumpers in 1921. I have suggested that this logo replace the SMFC on the back of the Swans jumper for a while as it is a true logo of the South Melbourne Football Club.

I don't think anyone actually suggested that the SMFC was the logo of the club. It's literally just the club's initials.
A logo that small and busy (4 letters on top of each other) tends to just become just a white dot on the jumper and thus lose its significance.

Those small letters on the back of jumpers, what sort of clubs would have these logos on the backs of their jumpers. Eight in total at this stage, Carlton, Collingwood, Essendon, Fremantle, Gold Coast, Melbourne, North Melbourne and your club Adelaide.

what are you actually asking Mero to correct here?

And which of those are actually legible?
Crows blends in coz it's navy on navy (oh and I have no stake or ownership in them, nor say in them placing the logo there)
Carlton's is 3 letters not 4 which helps
Collingwood's is pretty much illegible
Essendon's is decent as there is much less letter overlap
Gold Coast's is pretty obvious what it is coz it's on the pointless yellow bit but even still it's fairly small
Melbourne's MCC is as clear as the rest
North's...what even is that.

Brisbane have the lion and the BBFFC
Sydney usually have the SMFC
Port have 1870
St Kilda have Est 1873
These are all more legible and clearer.

Just because the majority does it, doesn't mean it's best practice nor that I need to agree with it.

What I was actually asking Mero to correct here is what has since been corrected on the site is the old style SMFC logo which appeared on the jumpers and not Swan logo which was on the jumpers before.

This area has become a new place to put logos of the club on the jumper. They don't have to be visible to the crowd at the ground or the television viewer, they are more logos of historical nature and that knowing that they are on the club jumper is important to the club. The SMFC logo is a good logo for this as it was a logo of the club back when it was South Melbourne and was on the jumpers in 1921. This adds to the linking of the current Sydney Swans and the old South Melbourne.

yeah but like that’s a pretty drawn out way of saying “they’ve updated the logo on the back, please update it”...

I picked p the Sydney mistake I'd made this morning.
The SMFC monogram used on the 1921 jumper is now on the back of the 100 Year jumper from last weekend.

Hawthorn is weird because the Illustrator file I had saved as 1991 has the Hawks logo on the front.
However I had not saved the png as that, it was saved with the 1990 logo.

Short story; both are fixed.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

The Hawthorn mistake was weird because the 1990 picture was the same as the 1991 & 1992 picture.

However, the Household Finance logo is still different to how it was. The logo wasn't as long as it is on the new picture. It was the same length as the previous years logo with the hawk logo added on. Here are some more pictures to show that what I am saying is true.

In case you wanted to add home/away to these logos:

SGIO yellow- 1994-1999 home
HJ's yellow stretched - 1994-1997 away
HJ's yellow stacked - 1998-1999 away

SGIO rectangle - 2000-2008 home/2000-(Rd 19) 2003 away/2009-2017 away
HJ's rectangle - (Rd 20) 2003-2008 away/2009-2011 home

Bankwest - 2012-2017 home

HJ's square - 2018- home
SGIO oval - 2018 away (won't be used in 2019 season)

FXD_ That's the problem, some of the descriptions are too long for the panel they go on.
So I went with no description other than the year.
Hovering the mouse over the logo should show a short description box for more info

And what would the html look like to make that happen?
Especially given it's just an image, there's no page there.

The Vic Park FB page posted a photo of Bob Rose and I noticed the socks were 1/3rd white
38740268_1830248760355030_4512307583368822784_n.png
And after watching snippets of the '52 granny, Collingwood wore the same ones
5 seconds in

It's even shown on his statue
Bob_Rose-7429-32273.jpg

After going through games on Youtube, those socks were worn between 1950-70 because I noticed between 1971-79, about half were wearing full black socks and half in the 1/3rd white ones. Then 1980 - present in full black socks
