Poor Caitlyn they have destroyed her, she wants to sing country but Ronan is a hopeless mentor for her. I think Redfoo would've worked well with Caitlyn.

See the way he introduced her singing Carrie underwood it was as if he didn't agree with her choice. Just the way he did. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

Last week Redfoo did comment on Ronan's song choices, that he isn't picking the right songs for Caitlyn. I would like to hear Cailtyn sing a country song from Taylor Swift.

Apparently and she has said this on FB, she doesn't want to do Taylor Swift. In fact she hated having to do Taylor's latest hit. That aside there are a million Aussie country artists, my dead dog could have picked one. I'm not the biggest country fan and even I know Casey Chambers!

ah ok I didn't know Caitlyn was against Taylor Swift.

Carrie Underwood's songs are hard though, her voice is so powerful. Anyway there's so many country singers for Ronan to pick from,,eg Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Kasey. What about Miley before she became trashy? lol

Maybe Ronan hates country music.

Yes, i think she just doesn't want to be compared to Taylor to going into pop. I am not really sure. Carrie's songs are unbelievable and there is a good reason she won Idol by 10 lengths. I thought Caitlyn did the song justice on Monday though. You are right, Faith Hill would have been a good choice too, forgot about her. I would have liked Caitlyn to do a Miley Cyrus song like "The climb" for Number 1 hits week. Pretty sure it went number 1.

Maybe I should mentor her (and get a date) lol. The Climb is perfect, and she could use her guitar. This is one thing i have hated, why is she not using her guitar, it is what she is known for around her hometown! Even excluding Faith and to be fair she isn't as well known...Ronan keeps calling her the 'new Shania Twain'. Okay fine Ronan....then give her a Shania song you idiot!
