Movie X-Men: Apocalypse

I'll give it a go. Singer rarely makes a bad film. And he's got most of his X-Men films pretty bang on.

That had nothing to do with Fox/Marvel. They asked the guy that played Colossus in DOFP if he wanted to come back but he said no because they'd be dubbing his dialogue with the Russian dude.

Except that it took til Deadpool to get the character right. They did a very average job with the character in all of the X-Men films they used him in.

Collossus was done so well in deadpool and that was just the first attempt

X-Men 2 is one of the best comic book movies of all time. And remember, the first X-Men is largely responsible for everything that followed comic book wise. It was the first one.

I think that could almost work in its favour, in that there's not a massive amount of expectation on this movie.

Apocalypse genuinely looks like something out of an 80's He-Man movie or an episode of Power Rangers. Pretty disappointing

I watched a video last night that tried to explain the timeline currently (Split into three universes) and...well, it still doesnt quite make absolute sense. The scenes at the end of Days of Future Past either completely ignore Jean having the Phoenix in her still, or she hasnt had a trauma big enough to awaken it and Charles is still repressing it.

Also, the whole sending Wolverine back...They said no changes will occur until he returns his consciousness to the current time...So...HOW do they know when its ok to do that? Or was the plan just to keep him back there until the current time sentinels killed them?

im watching days of future past at the moment. there is Storm.

now in XMA, Storm is a baddie. so its pretty obvious that storm survives, and becomes an x-man

On Jean, she wouldn't have had a trauma large enough to awaken it. I have no doubt they'll hint at it in this film, and it might even come out to help defeat Apocalypse in the end (Although I think he is going to die when Magneto turns on him, shot in the trailer has Apocalypse choking Mystique and $50 says that is when Magneto turns).

The Wolverine thing was hard to understand, but the way I saw it was once they successfully stopped Mystique killing Trask, it changed everything. Wolverine then lost his memory or some shit until the date that he went back to the past came by in the future (That sounds bizarre I know but if you watch the movie again you can understand).

TL;DR time travel is always going to invite plotholes, FFS I hated Looper because of it.

A what if special displayed her full potential when she basically melted sabre tooth along with most of the X-Mansion

She just too nice as a teen to realise her powers in that way

I do, but I still get a giggle. What I want to know is how cyclops doesn't burn through his eyelids. And did he cut his own way out of his mother?
