Xbox live is relatively lag free, and you also have the advantage of being able to play gamers world-wide.

Picked up Xbox Live the other day. Been playing the MotoGP demo that came with it, very smooth. Wanting to get TopSpin and ESPN Hockey and ESPN Football when they are released next month. Now, I'm just going to have to get some people to add.
