Schomler brought up a good point about Walker, if he was treated as a prospect people would be saying "wow" but because he's already been through the draft process people are dismissing him, yet he's playing in a competition against hungry grown ass men. Meanwhile a lot of college prospects are playing against competition that won't even get offered an xfl contract.

true, but someone will view him as better than a prospect due to exactly that, playing in a fierce pro comp and excelling, and see it as answering their QB need without drafting one.

You have to wonder if Andrew Luck didnt talk his old man into calling Walker if he would even be in the XFL.

Andrew Luck is a better QB scout than Elway [not that its a high bar to pass] or Ryan Pace.

Everyone will focus on Walker and Phillips as being passed up by NFL GMs and HCs, and thats a problem in the NFL where higher drafted and higher salaried prospects are given all the opportunity and roster spots over the undrafted/low-salaried ones. But there are quite a lot of damn good defensive players around the league showing the same thing as Walker and Phillips. Couldnt name them all tho.

Dude couldn't even beat out Brissett in multiple training camps and yet you're sure Walker is better than him. That does not compute, let alone thinking he's better than guys who played to the level of a top 10 QB last season.

he started all last season (allen) but walker couldnt get a gig?

like i said before....the problem with the nfl is high drafted, high salaried guys always get the favoritism and opportunities.

and then theres the "hes too small to be a qb crowd of thought among the GMs and HCs...you know the same guys who insisted Lamar be a WR.

He couldnt even SEE properly and he threw for 8th most passing yards in history. When a QB can be so prolific, relied on, it means they are elite level. Meanwhile Jimmy manages games, 100-200 yards
