Intel Mac users eager to get Windows XP running on your Mac may be in luck. A hacker named Narf has presumably, after weeks of work, been able to successfully install a version of Windows XP on his Intel iMac. The hacker began posting photos a few days ago and today released a video of the hack.

The solution has been submitted to the Windows XP on Mac site for review and an official announcement should be made soon.

To check out the video, follow the link below.

To have only one computer
Some apps don't work on Mac as well, I myself have to use XP only because Excel on the mac isn't as deep as XP.

Apparantly, narf has done it - it has been confirmed by several testers on several different hardware configs.

from slashdot;

"According to winxponmac.com, the contest has been won - nearly $14k to narf2006 for submitting a working solution to dual-booting Windows XP and Mac OS X on an Intel-Powered mac. A thread on osx86project.org has confirmations from several testers that the procedure works on the 17" iMac, the Mac mini, and the MacBook Pro. Many sets of pictures and videos (such as this installation video) are floating around (and mentioned in the thread). The solution itself should be posted soon." Poit! Congratulations to narf.
