Crownies are ok but Boags strongarm is almost mothers milk
but when strapped for cash emu bitter is drinkable

QLDers are an odd lot.

For some reason they drink XXXX and the mid strength versions and worship it as the best thing sliced bread. Some day, A QLDer, probably from a regional part, will marry his box of XXXX mid strength.

To be brutelly honest, it would in the top 5 as Australia's worst beers.

They do have some good adds though. "The train doesnt stop in Bowen on Wednesdays".

There's nothing quite like going to a party when all the host has provided is XXXX heavy or mid strength.

As a self proclaimed beer lover you just cant not love Coopers Sparkling Ale. In my humble opinion its the best Beer in Australia.

Its only drawback would be that it doesnt mix well with a dodgy vindaloo but then again, what does!!!!

What usually happens to hosts who have a fridge fulla fourex gold and bitter is that the guests all bring VB and drink the hosts beer and leave the host with VB in his fridge. Said host is never happy about that.

VB is actually my beer of choice alony with West Ened draught when I go have a few beers down the pub
I know it is not the best beer going around, far from it but I prefer to drink tap beer than pay over the top for bottled beer.

Next time i'm in Brissie maybe. Just out of curiostiy what is the beer with the highest alc vol going around. Sparkling's the highest i know and thats 5.8 %. Think it was Carlton who brought out a beer that was 6% which had a snip of vodka as well in it.
