Obviously the ones I get here aren't as good as the fresh ones in Mexico, but they're a very tasty consolation prize.

OMG Yes. A million times this. One of the things I miss from the genuine Mexican restaurants in the United States (only dipped into Mexico on a few occasions so I can't really say that I missed them as I didn't have them regularly enough there to get to that point).

That's fantastic!
Any big plans for your retirement? Golf, travel, lying down?
Definitely more time on the golf course.

Mrs AA has a number of house projects and the first one will be a new kitchen.

Think i will get a passport and keen to go cruising as well. Also want to tour around oz as well [emoji106]

Sounds marvelous! I'd love to go on a cruise. HBF 's parents have been on 50 million of them, ask him if you want a recommendation! :)

Went on a 4 day cruise 18 months ago and loved it, next one will be 10-12 day international cruise [emoji106]

About perfect. 10 days was about our limit. We enjoyed the heck out of it, and while there is a LOT to do on board, that was about the time when we were starting to want to be on land and doing other stuff. Don't know how people do 180 day cruises and stuff!

AA 55 and you are retiring, that is awesome, you must be a good saver :). I couldn't handle a cruise, I would feel claustrophobic plus don't like sleeping in a small bedroom.

The bedrooms are larger than you would expect. Ours had tons of space. Make sure you get a balcony room though, it's worth its weight in gold.

Not a particularly good saver, but lucky to be in a very good super scheme.

And a lot more expensive as well, especially when you don't spend a heap of time in your bedroom either.
