Round 4: Votes v Geelong

5. Luke Hodge
4. Tom Mitchell
3. Isaac Smith
2. Ben McEvoy
1. James Sicily

Hodge the absolute standout last week. Hard to say much about the rest.

Mitchell is well ahead early, can't say his year has been that great, it's just how much the team is struggling. At least he is getting the ball. Sicily got his first vote for the year.

5. Mitchell (Even though we haven't been winning until today, you get the feeling he's loving it at Hawthorn)
4. McEvoy (Best game I've ever seen him play)
3. Breust (Loved how he finally took on the goals instead of looking for other options - needs to be more selfish like this)
2. Rioli (Faded in and out of the game, but came up with the spectacular and amazing and desperation to contribute to many goals for us)
1. Hardwick (Duryea is probably hoping FA offers start to come in now)

Special mentions - Burgoyne (loved his centre clearance late in the game), Gunston (who knew he could play forward), Roughy (on kicking 4 and getting to the magic 500), Brand (for actually being a good key defender), Shiels (for finally playing worthy of his VC tag), O'Brien (for his best half of footy ever), Burton (should now be the leading contender for the rising star) and Langford for being a freaking animal at the contest all day long.

5 McEvoy
4 Mitchell
3 Hodge
2 Burgoyne
1 Rioli

Special mention to some very solid, promising performances from our younger brigade: TO'B, Hardwick (Hodge-like at times), Sicily, Burton and Brand. They're beginning to take responsibility! Great stuff.

5 - McEvoy (Hawthorn won the hitouts? omg!!)
4 - Mitchell (contested possessions sorely needed)
3 - Rioli (goal assists galore)
2 - Smith (first half especially)
1 - Shiels (contested possessions sorely needed)
