The 2019 AFL Premiership Season starts in under a week (how times flies!) which means the YABBY Medal is back.

Once again the regulars will know how it works but for anyone new to this, we all get together and vote after each game, handing out 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 votes. You can vote as soon as the game's finished or later into the week, hopefully we get a lot of votes in each week. I will then collate all the votes from everyone and determine the overall 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 that we've come up with collectively.

Last year Tom Mitchell went back2back winning his 2nd Yabby Medal with not as many votes as the year prior (62 compared to 80 in 2017) however he had a more impactful year winning the 2018 Brownlow Medal too. Unfortunately he won't have the chance to go for a Hat-Trick due to breaking his leg in the pre-season.
The other top performers in the Yabby last year were Luke Breust who came in 2nd with 39 votes, 3rd was Jaeger O'Meara with 32, 4th was James Sicily (30 votes) and 5th was Jack Gunston (29 votes). Sicily was the only other player to finish in the top 5 two years in a row after coming 3rd in 2017.

Please ensure your votes are complete and clearly numbered or they cannot be counted. Likewise, keep all voting to this thread.

Bring on 2019!
