Footy is back upon us and safe to say we are all very excited to see the boys run out again this year. Hopefully another year of great development with potentially a rise up the ladder. Hard to gauge where we will finish but anything is possible with this exciting group. Confident in the direction Sam is taking us, just need a few more pieces to the puzzle over the next couple of years and we will be challenging I believe.
Once again the regulars will know how it works but for anyone new to this, we all get together and vote after each game, handing out 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 votes. You can vote as soon as the game's finished or a few days later. I try and finalise the votes for the week by the Wednesday or Thursday. I will then collate all the votes from everyone and determine the overall 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 that we've come up with collectively.
Last year we saw a new face take out the Yabby in Will Day. The Duke once again came in 2nd place, two years in a row. Worpel's renaissance was awesome to see as he finished in 3rd spot. Our superstar in Sicily came in 4th after another brilliant season whilst Conor Nash took his game to a new level to round out the Top 5 in 2023.
