You just come across as a massive tosser giving yourself a nickname. I know someone who tried doing it after they got drafted to an AFL club, he's always been taken the piss out of over that.

I don't think you're from the country, but was it Tommy "T-Train" Sheridan? The man who not only gave himself a nickname, but asked the AFL if they called call him 'Tommy' and not 'Tom...'

These jackets are pretty lame too. I don't even know where mine is. We had really bad like... they were just normal jackets made out of a cheap and thin polyester. The year after us got "really cool" varsity jackets and everyone was jealous... they looked naff and bogan I thought. Most people chucked their nickname on there but mine was so boring and surname derived that I didn't even bother with that. We had good school colours (basically dark green with yellow and bornw) and instead of having a simple, nice green rugby we ended up with these washed out North ueensland Fury like greens pieces of shit.

I couldn't believe people wore them outside of school though and cringe when kids wear them to uni. Far out. You're finally out of the restrictions of high school life and all it curtails, and instead of finally being able to wear what you want or disown your private school or whatever kids are supposed to do, you end up bragging about finishing at Williamstown High School in 2013?
