Can someone give us a tldr please.
In this episode ...

0:00 – The 12-month anniversary of the 2020 premiership
* It was a great premiership given all that happened that year.

1:58 – Will Dusty return to his peak form?
* Questions, no answers. He's lost weight. Nothing new.
* His first major injury. Does he have the same level of motivation?
* After all he has achieved, maybe off by a few percent.

3:33 – Richmond are all in again for 2022
* You don't bring Tarrant in if you aren't in a premiership window
* Asking about how will it be 2023 once Cotch and co depart

4:41 – Why the Tigers struggled this season
* Injuries
* Extra month of footy / year in covid impacted years
* in retrospect we were shot a long way out in 2021

6:46 – A look back at Brendon Gale's 2010 vision
* beep beep, backing over old ground.

9:04 – Why they can’t afford the same long-term vision for the time being
* What is our plan in next 5 years.
- Selling hope.
- AFL community thought Benny was nuts, overly ambitious
- we can't sell the same hope as our stars are ageing.
- AFL premiership window is open.
- Damo has splinters up his clacker. Not going to question the next five year plan. If they're not planning they're not doing their job. WTF? Thanks genius.
- we have a great draft hand. Nat thinks if we nail it we'll be Sydnee-esque; always there abouts

10:45 – Comparing Damien Hardwick to Alastair Clarkson
* Hawks smart build for their 3 flags in compromised draft
* Richmond's was arguably better. Prestia was a key import, the rest was organically grown.
* from 2013, Hardwick the better coach.

13:06 – Early predictions: How will Richmond fare in 2022?
* They're back in contention. More prep time, mentally refreshed.
* Finals yes
- but Damo can't see them making it the last Saturday.
- Nat can see us winning it in 2022. Uses trends of the past for us to bounce back as it has in the past.
* RCD and Ross needs to spike, it has to be their year. Stacky, too. Need to shift from the established players, if we are going make a fist of it.

15:31 – Clubs asking potential draftees about their vaccination status

Exactly, it's the compromised drafts that kept the Hawks up as long as they were as other clubs couldn't rebuild quick enough
IIRC they got their no 1, 2 and 3 picks as well as their priority picks just before Clarkson took over, so as usual the AFL is trying to rewrite history , expect the Charlie to be reinstated to the drug cheat.

I thought it was a fair assessment by Nat and Damien. Would be absolutely incredible if we did win another flag. Like all-time greatest team ever level conversations. And we won't really know until well into the season which way we are heading.

Well still a long way to go to match Melbourne's run but damn its been a great ride either way, I hope it can continue.

Melbourne - 1955 1956 1957 1959 1960 and lost the 58 GF to the wobblers

I don’t know much about that era or that team but flags are a bit harder to win these days surely. It’s an elite environment now.
