Yeh of course, and "good" is subjective etc. but surely you've noticed that the current trend seems to be to run shows into the ground.
For every Ozark or Breaking Bad there are a dozen Game of Thrones.

I did some research after the finale and there was doubt on a second season with an emphasis on another period piece to flesh out more backstory on Yellowstone

I highly recommend you both watch the 1883 prequel series that came out in February. It well and truly made up for the Season 4 of Yellowstone

I felt there was a lot of filler in there. I noticed there were many scenes with just music playing over the top, something that never happened in the previous seasons.

I think the show was better when they were going after someone/action scenes. The drama is good too, but it needs to be interspersed with other things. Season 4 was just a lot of dialogue/drama.

When is season 5 out? That's the final season right?

Over the last 4 weeks I have watched all four seasons. It peaked in season 2, then 3 was pretty good but season 4 really slipped.

It was all endless crappy country music and dancing horses. The endless shots of horses herding cows and spinning in circles or doing the sudden brake thing was doing my head in.

I just read in this thread that Tyler Sheridan owns 6666 and now it all makes sense. He is a terrible actor who thinks he’s a real life cowboy (very talented writer at times though).

The Texas worship was also unbearable. A bigger bunch of right wing campaigners barely exist on this earth, yet they are the ideal?

The drama of the show meandered and plots were just repeated from previous seasons but less well. They all just repeat the same actions over and over.

How in the hell did Jamie’s real dad have the money, power and influence to trigger this militia hunt of the Duttons?

I’ll stick with the show and I realise it’s not meant to be taken too seriously but it really needs to pick up in season 5. Maybe Tyler needs to concentrate harder and is spread to thin, because 1883 was awesome.

Poorly written character that brings nothing to the table, she's the stereotypical jaded/scorned woman, no depth with her at all.

Too contrived, unlikable characters making constant idiotic decisions, ridiculous shit constantly happening with minimal consequences.

Crap show.
