No blood was drawn. And the two main commentators are West Australian so they're not making a beat-up of it.surely chaplin gets 2 down to 1 for his spoil attempt on ballantyne?

lolWas saying the same thing. I wouldn't usually call it but MRP has to stay consistent.
You'll get better consistency out of spoiled milk than the MRPWas saying the same thing. I wouldn't usually call it but MRP has to stay consistent.

Worse.yeh agreed no way it should even be cited (nor should have yeo), but its exactly the same thing..
Anyone going to carry on national TV that he has a case to answer? Was saying the same thing. I wouldn't usually call it but MRP has to stay consistent.
Yeah Yeo's verdict was a farce, and the club should have challenged. Can't blame Lingey for that opinion though (unless he was one of the guys saying Yeo was in trouble)Anyone going to carry on national TV that he has a case to answer?
Lingey gave the verdict "it was fine, in the act of spoiling".
Perhaps it all depends on which team you play for?
Ziebells attempted spoil on buddy was very similar. Buddy went down and grabbed his face. What's the difference between the Chaplin and Yeo incidents? Surely Chaplin will get cited![]()

Part of me would not be terribly sad if Ellis got suspended for something that is a joke, just based on how he has reacted to the vic bias in the past (all aus team reaction and rising star etc.) I can see him giving the afl a major public serve about the bias, quoting examples, having probably researched and found the many inconsistencies ie yeo suspension. I hope this happens. On AFL Game Day they just said Ellis will probably have a case to answer for his slide, but they all just laughed off Firrito's punch to the back of Buddy's head and said it's just a free kick. Apparently it's OK to "make him earn it", as long as you're a Victorian of course.
He probably wouldn't cause it might cost him a bit of cash, not when it involves him personally anyway. Tell you who would give them a spray is Jacob Brennan, one of the best '**** the VFL' accounts to follow on Twitter. Always has good things to say about us and points out a ton of inconsistencies, makes me happy that (ex) players are aware of some of the shit that goes on.Part of me would not be terribly sad if Ellis got suspended for something that is a joke, just based on how he has reacted to the vic bias in the past (all aus team reaction and rising star etc.) I can see him giving the afl a major public serve about the bias, quoting examples, having probably researched and found the many inconsistencies ie yeo suspension.
