Roast yet another pointless, provocative headline on afl.com.au : "Boomer a Hawk?"

Stupid, click bait rubbish.

We were supposedly interested in Harvey 3 years ago and that for some reason should still extrapolate to the here and now?

The actual article (by super scoop Barrett) then speculates that any number of clubs may be interested if Harvey chose to call Scott's bluff but it's the Hawks they use to lure the reader in.

Who would you drop for him?
I know its a bit of cliche for this forum but suckling(probably leaving anyway). Boomer would be good forward/midfield rotation and would even be a weapon off the halfback. Just because he's on the list doesn't mean we have to play him, he would come very cheap. Forget age if he's good enough to be in the best 22 so be it( on this years output he would be), you don't just gift young players game just due to their age.

Sorry mate, we have kids who need to get on the list, they are called 'rookies'...Boomer can fk right off, in my view

I've invested far too much hating him for him to come over now. As if he would .

It was hard enough dealing with Libba when he came across to assist coaching. I was always compelled to boo him even in Hawks colours.

Don't want Boomer, would rather Litherland, O'Rourke or Langford to replace Suckling if he decides to leave. Maybe even Anderson or Howe.

Harvey would need to play in 88 more wins to break Tuck's record. Not going to happen. At north's current win loss ratio it's about 600 games.

Indeedy yes! What a great stat. Burgoyne should easily join the 200 win club this year but may well run out of games to get to Langford senior.

If anyone is curious or interested in exploring this further I can highly recommend this site.

You can download whatever list you want into excel and then play to your heart's content.

For example, Gus Litherland is currently sitting on a winning % of 94.12

Angus Litherland 17 16 1 94.12 HW
