Those guys aren't what we need...

I know Goddard and Winderlich from Power - Goddard has the ego of a truck and a solid game...not as impressive as some of the previous guys at #1

For the life of me...CMON SAINTS...PLEASE...We only want Salopek. Even if we get pick #1 or #2 with Carlton cheating the system...I only want Salopek!

Any news emerge from Canberra? Just SMSed Jason (Winderlich) but no reply...yet ;)

He previously told me Brisbane want him with their first pick....but that means like #18 doesn't it?

Can this guy's opinions be taken seriously when he barracks for bloody Everton and St.Kilda ? Two mediocre clubs without any success for a long, long, long time.

Being an Everton and St.Kilda fan builds character...and seperates you from corruption that only Carlton and Liverpool fans appreciate!

Being a Carlton, can anything you say be....nah....

I'll save it for when Carlton One takes it's place :p

I thought we were bad in the times of sacking Blight, etc...then Carlton comes along!

At least we are going forward...god forbid our entire team falls into a hole while training...that's about the only thing worse then the injuries we suffered last year!

As for Everton...well...2-0 over Fulham...We'll be walking alone towards the top! Yobo you star!

Groan...alright Carlton/Liverpool fans...vent your splean why you're so good....

Hey Toffee Apple Fan

I barrack for the Blues and Leeds United, a club with limited success over the years.
Don't mind the Reds though.

Hey evertonfc... Ima proud toffee myself (dont be fooled by the avatar, I lost a bet).

What a good win on the weekend, Im happy Yobo is back fit, now Stubbsy may not have to play anymore :p

Its good to see Campbell and Radz fire, with young Wayne Rooney, Nick Chadwick...and the experienced warhead in the Big Dunc..the Toffs may very well have a good season.

Lets just hope no more calamaties from Wrightey

You think your injuries were worse than Carlton's? We actually have some quality players that got injured! There are not quality players at the Saints, so they can't get injured!

You'll get him. If we keep picks 1 and 2 I doubt we'd go for Salopek. From what I've seen Salopek is a great in and under player but doesn't quite seem to have the class of Goddard.

He's got every bit of class, maybe lacks the pace that's all.

Can take an overhead grab & has a bloody good football brain.

Seen them both play, Id say Goddard is more like McGuane, Salopek reminded me more of a Rob Harvey except he wasnt getting the sort of space Harvey gets.

Goddard is much taller and looks as if he'll grow into a very capable physique for playing midfield, he has similar qualities to Kouta too in quick hands and once I even saw him do the one hand thing. That really made me laugh.

The player that impressed me most of the 4 TAC Cup games I watched was actually Ferguson from Gippsland, don't know if he's going to grow much or not but he looked really good, takes strong marks, versatile, athletic, fast, great leap, could be anything. Only problem is his height, from memory he's only 189cm but if he grew 5-6cms I'd be looking at him #1.

Byron Shammer....please fall to pick # 30...where the crows 2nd rd pick should be around ;)

I think both SA clubs will have to let Schammer go through to the keeper (aka Victoria), however both will probably make moves to get Adam Cooney next year. Huge wraps on that kid.

I wish, haven't had school holidays for 20 years

I'm just bored with you and your ignorance.

Ouch...that just hurt SO much!

I said that it was stupid to say that Saints had worse injuries last year than Carlton in 2002... Do you disagree? Or are you too bored to answer?

Disagree , now shut the **** up already.

HTBS (MB?) and Savatage (KISS fan?), this 'saiak' has a history of being ignorant and frustrating. I sometimes suspect the real identity of saiak is actually karl aka 'the mailman', but that might be wrong. It's just they have so much in common in their brain numbing style of reasoning that it makes me wonder.

I've thought that too Deej. Their posting styles aren't that similar but everything else about them is. Neither of them think much of me that's for sure.

Figured, that's why I kept it short & to the point.

Savatage (Savatage).

And how many successful teams have you supported?

OK kid, have you heard of players called
Robert Harvey
Nathan Burke
Peter Everitt
Fraser Gehrig
Justin Koschitzke
Stewart Loewe
Austinn Jones
Max Hudghton
Brett Moyle
Trent Knobel
Matthew Capuano
Craig Callaghan
James Begley
and I'll throw in the Number 2 draft pick Luke Ball for good measure.

All of these missed more than five games with injury this year.
The corresponding Carlton list was also significant, but certainly no more than the above list

Brett Ratten
Adrian Hickmott
Anthony Koutafides
Lance Whitnall
Ang Christou
Darren Hulme
Matthew Allen
Michael Mansfield (hahaha)
and a series of no names who probably played reserves anyway

Care to recant, or haven't you learnt yet from your Brownlow vote debacle from yesterday.
