I think Dunstall has been noticeably trying to be more balanced. Maybe someone had a word with him. I dont know. Maybe he looked at his embarrassing efforts when we played Gold Coast, and realised just how ridiculous he sounded. I still think the thread title does a pretty good job of defining the Dunstall-Collingwood relationship.

I do have a question.... why do they insist of showing the crowd or witts picking his nose ...or a cute girl in the 4th row...while the footy is being played?

Far more balanced this game. I cringed when I heard he was part of the team calling our game, but he's been as OK as a fat moron can be.

its weird how dunstall was ok and frawley sounded like he had his caboose parked about 3/4 of the way up the driveway...

mark thompson was on fox footy today....special commentator.... special as in especially inept... I figure that he's had enough of footy and has decided to just watch the game, rather than do any analysing. And I say that's probably a good thing for him to do in his semi-retirement. I can only marvel that he's managed to convince fox that he's worth being paid.

yep...we know that ...refreshingly honest but I dont think fox is ready for the brave new world where commentators dont have any theories or special knowledge...

What's going to happen to Thompson...I dunno. But he seems to be enjoying his retirement.

my level of desperation is obviously lower....but evidently the guy who is directing the tv coverage isnt even interested in the game. There are times when they spend 20 seconds showing a footballer pulling his pants out of his butt crack and the thrown-in has already been done and dusted....oh no...we have to show the whole wedgie activity before we return to the football.... and there's bruce and barbie and the kids in the crowd cheering... we have to show them for half a minute..who cares if we miss that important mark in the forward line?...

when i started watching footy on tv, it was all done with one camera and i dont think things have improved...

I dunno I love seeing that nut-job in our cheer squad going troppo over a blatant free kick against us that makes us all look as feral as our reputation suggests, rather than the ball being moved quickly down the field or Jamie Elliott taking a screamer

Dunstall got the Jesse White call very wrong, but generally I don't mind him. Danny Frawley is the one I can't cop. Nothing but a stats regurgitator. Without the stats in front of him he'd be stuck for anything to say at all.

i happened to watch the cloke highlights on the club site.... showed the marks in the last quarter...

every mark was so easy because he had "no opposition"..... every mark resulted from perfect kicks from the guys up the field.... in the end, all cloke had to do was to just stand there and the ball fell in his lap. The only exciting thing for dwayne was hoping that he would miss the goal....

I always like to see people taking their employers for a ride... I can only wonder what rupert murdoch will think about his new signing when his lackeys show him Thommo's highlight reel. I was wondering how allaster lynch was feeling, consigned to the boundary line and told to stick with the melbourne people all the day...i wanted to go to the ground and say "back in nappies eh lynchie?"...
