maybe his kid wants to be a blue. the big roondog just cant get enough of the blue. must take him back to his youth.
The kid does idolise Hugo as his favourite GK so can't say he doesn't know a thing or two about football

there's a lot of players better than rlc really. he's missed the boat. he always had the size advantage at youth level but has been shown up badly against adults.

Not sure he's been shown up when he's hardly got a shot(has looked promising whenever he gets a chance to play). He desperately needs to go out on loan somewhere he'll play 90 minutes, hopefully to the Championship in January now he's finally fit again.

he's 21 in nearly a month, and looks going down a very similar path as bamford. beats up on the kids, but comes out and looks okay at best. his size is what has gotten him so far. 6'3 and he's been that for a while. agree a loan would be best for him but he's very quickly approaching that limbo stage for a young footballer.

I'm just not sure he'll ever be 'Chelsea class'. I think he'll end up being a decent footballer but he needs a good loan and to really put in the hard work now or he'll end up another McEachran.

well mceachran got absolutely ruined by injuries iirc but yeah. converting him to a cb could do him the world of good.

United have training at U8 level, not sure whether we have more sessions or whatever.

We've got a few sons of United players that have been through our academy.

Fletcher, Van Persie, I think two of Phil Nevilles are still there. But at U8's it's just a bit of fun really.

RLC looks to have made some bad decisions. Really needed to be playing more than he has over the past few years, even if it was at a lower level.

It's a pretty common thing though, a lot of players/clubs really struggle managing young players.

Liverpool has agreed on a fee of 150k for 15-year-old English future prospect Jack Bearne from League Two side Notts County.

The youngster made his debut for the club's U18 squad earlier in the season.

No idea what position he plays but the possible reason for him being sold is because Notts County are 500k in debt.

u/18's beat stoke 5-2. the 5 goals came in 15 minutes. unbeaten in 15 games and 7 points clear at the top i think.
Only one game lost in 2016 by all accounts. The youth cup final against Chelsea.

Not sure how many of you know about Ethan Ampadu. I'm an Exeter man and he has been our brightest academy prospect for a few years. Debuted this season at 15, breaking the record for us. Being linked with Arsenal because his dad is an academy coach there, but had trals with Liverpool, Man Utd, with Spurs and City wanting long term deals as well. Could easily move this transfer period

outsideoftheboot (http://twitter.com/OOTB_football) are publishing their yearly 100 to watch list, which gets broken up into goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and forwards

http://outsideoftheboot.com/2016/12/26/100-best-young-players-2017-1-goalkeepers/
http://outsideoftheboot.com/2016/12/27/100-best-young-players-2017-2-defenders/

they're not ranked in a talent order, purely alphabetical.

inbedwithmaradona.com have done their own yearly one too

http://inbedwithmaradona.com/journal/2016/12/21/ibwm100-for-2017

at the end of the year they then do a biography on each player listed assessing how they went. the 2016 list is here

United have taken a 3rd youth scout from City, the head of Brightons academy and the head of academy recruitment for Sheffield United.
Bit redundant with Mou at the helm isn't it ;)
