It’s not a conspiracy, it’s obvious. The reason you have that differential is that you aren’t getting frees paid against you. Fine. Is it seriously believable that your players are doing everything by the book when tackling? To give away virtually minimal free kicks compared to the rest of the competition is ridiculous.LMAO… who cares what you think more like it Another Melbourne supporter commenting here. Fast becoming the floggiest supporter base in the AFL… kudos!!
How f*n delusional are you Systematically coached… I love it. Are you a Fox News watching, Tin foil hat wearing Trump supporter also, or just a vapid fool?
Given it’s so systematic, how much time do you propose the Dogs spend on this. Given Weightman is so early into his career, do you believe we fast tracked his training? Summer flop camp, online education, after hours flop training? Which specialist coaches do you believe we’ve brought in to train such skills? Max Gawn is a renown flopper, is it possible he’s moonlighting with us? Or Pickett and Spargo, some young blood with new flopping ideas. So many options to help guide the Dogs.
I am not saying the online hate to Weightman is warranted, that’s nuffy behaviour, however he is clearly becoming a player that is prepared to put some GST on it when is tackled and clearly shrugs when tackled to bring the tacklers arm up higher. It was stated by the commentary team on the weekend. Is it a legitimate technique? Probably. Does it suck the umpires in? Definitely.
I don’t like it at all. The AFL needs to come down very hard on players shrugging and dropping to cause a legitimate tackle to be be seen as a dangerous one. By the time Weightman got his fourth free kick it was obvious the umpires were looking at him and his behaviour as opposed to the action.
To say he has sucked them in is an understatement. The first one was probably the only legitimate one there. In fact it was the only one. He kicked three goals from nothing illegal. It’s pretty disgusting that Essendon had to deal with the fall out from piss poor umpiring.
