Isn't the price tag one of the factors behind a work permit. You paid a bit for him but that might help you get one.

We were 1 point short getting a permit before the South American championship so the hope is his performance there will get it over the line this time.

His £11m fee wasnt enough alone.

Worst passing on the pitch of any Liverpool player who started the game. May be decent defensively but he's not a great passer. Another one of the hype train coming from Liverpool to join the never ending list of meh players.

According to you all our players are shite, so I'm confused why we're not in League One.
 
So how was everyone's pre-season? Any kids stand out or make any sort of leap to that next level.

Unfortunately for us, Bajcetic was still injured and has only now joined first team training so he missed the entire pre-season, still think he will have a big season.

McConnell was a player who looked alright in midfield for us and Jarrell Quansah looks a decent prospect at CB.

The standout though by absolutely miles was Ben Doak. Bloke could be anything, he moves past players like they arent even there.

Meh, some kids didnt develop some don't. Looking back through the thread theres a heap suggested who haven't come on years later.
