Your Best 22 After The Trade Period

Now that the trade period is done what does every think their best 22 next year will look. I've made a rough attempt on all teams.

Richmond:

B: Nick Vlastuin ~ Alex Rance ~ Dylan Grimes
HB: Chris Yarran ~ David Astbury ~ Bachar Houli

M: Brandon Ellis ~ Dion Prestia ~ Shane Edwards
R: Shaun Hampson ~ Dustin Martin ~ Trent Cotchin

HF: Sam Lloyd ~ Ben Griffiths ~ Josh Caddy
F: Daniel Rioli ~ Jack Riewoldt ~ Toby Nankervis

I/C: Anthony Miles ~ Oleg Markov ~ Shaun Grigg ~ Corey Ellis

pretty spot on, except i would have Connor menadue as best 22 over corey ellis

and Kamdyn mcintosh would be best 22

Eh seeing as how those kids are all a year older and have proven they can handle finals pressure, that GWS list is scary, especially with Deledio. GG competition.

Good effort mike123. :thumbsu:

For us you've left out two of the top 5 in our B&F though, in Geary (2nd) and Newnes (5th), who are also two of the leading candidates to take over the captaincy from N-Roo. Both are walk-up starts in our team, in particular after career-best seasons last year.

I'd say Koby Stevens will also be best 22 if he has a relatively full preseason and is fit and in form and at this stage will probably be ahead of Steele in the midfield pecking order. Probably ahead of Dunstan, too, especially with him coming off another shoulder reco. Ross comfortably ahead of all of them at this stage.

Montagna plays HBF these days and Riewoldt will almost certainly continue to play mostly wing, if Paddy, Bruce and Membrey are all fit and playing.

Here is my shot at it:

B: Dempster ~ Brown ~ Geary
HB: Montagna ~ Carlisle ~ Roberton
C: Riewoldt ~ Ross ~ Newnes
HF: Weller ~ Bruce ~ Billings
F: Gresham ~ McCartin ~ Membrey
R: Hickey ~ Armitage ~ Steven
I: Acres ~ Stevens ~ Savage ~ Gilbert

E: Dunstan ~ Steele ~ Webster ~ Wright ~ McKenzie ~ Lonie ~ Sinclair ~ Minchington ~ Goddard ~ Longer

The first 4 on the emergencies list were extremely stiff (Webster and Dunstan have both been best 22 for the last couple of years and Wright was a permanent fixture in our forward line at the end of this year, in a defensive role), which shows that we are starting to get some pretty decent depth happening.

FF: Dickson, Cloke, Dahlhaus

Port Adelaide:

B: Darcy Byrne-Jones ~ Jack Hombsch ~ Tom Clurey
HB: Nathan Krakouer ~ Logan Austin ~ Jasper Pittard

M: Hamish Hartlett ~ Oliver Wines ~ Jared Polec
R: Patrick Ryder ~ Travis Boak ~ Robbie Gray

HF: Jarman Impey ~ Justin Westhoff ~ Aaron Young
F: Chad Wingard ~ Charlie Dixon ~ Jackson Trengove

I/C: Jake Neade ~ Matthew Broadbent ~ Brad Ebert ~ Karl Amon

Would rather have Bonner over Broadbent at this stage and literally anyone over Neade. Palmer's a good shout for a spot in the starting 22 as well, we might still get a DFA (plz be Barrett/Barlow) and there's the 4 draftees in the Top 30 that we've got locked in. If we get Battle or Marshall then they'd be starting 22 surely and maybe Jonty Scharenburg if he's at the 30 mark still. Monfries coming back in gives us even more options.

I have Burton starting 18 for the Hawks.

I'll give an attempt:

B: Stratton ~ Frawley ~ Birchall
HB: Duryea ~ Brand ~ Burton

C: Hartung ~ Shiles ~ Smith
M: Mcevoy ~ TMitchell ~ O'Meara

HF: Bruest ~ Gunston ~ Rioli
F: Sicily ~ Roughead ~ Puopolo

INT: Hodge ~ Burgoyne ~ Gibson ~ Vickery.

EMG: Langford ~ Whitecross ~ Lovell ~ Shoey.

I've got Sheridan and Ballantyne in mine for Crozier and DPearce who are emgs in mine along with Ibbotson. I'd also have Barlow in (at Langdon's expense) but it sounds like he won't be at the club next year.

BHill Blakely SHill
Bennell Apeness Yarran
Walters McCarthy Kersten
Sandi Fyfe Neale

Ballantyne, Langdon, Sheridan, Tucker

Good effort with carlton, I'm assuming you've left out injured players or I would have Byrne in there.
Could chop and change with Boekhorst/Buckley, Charlie Curnow/Everitt, Graham/Sumner but I think you're pretty close.

No mate it's all Brad Scott's fault and don't get me started on JB and Thomas, Gibson, Hansen, and did I mention Brad Scott and also keeping the old guys on and never giving guys like Daw or Brown a chance and Chris Scott.

There should be laws against North bigfooty flogs posting more than once a week.

We don't get back this time you've stolen.

Crameri, Dixon and Cloke in a forward line that has TBoyd and Stringer, that's 5 Full Forwards in the same F50!!!
