Dream Team.

Defence looks a bit shaky to me.
Talia - nowhere near his best this year.
Doedee - no games to date.
Hartigan - worst is terrible.
Laird - AA.
Brown - dependable but doesn't get much of the ball.
Kelly - rapid improvement but still question marks for me as to if he has the quality required when it matters.

Weakest part of the ground next year needs a big preseason.

Keath is infinitely more talented than Hartigan and I just feel more comfortable in this line up.

Could probably swap Gallucci and Milera around. Realistically small forwards are.part of a midfield rotation.

Doedee is a tough one. I like him in the side. But forgot Brown in my initial line up.

I see Hampton playing Smith's role. Although Seed is probably a more natural fit.

I would slot Kelly straight into Lever's role, albeit adapted to suit his attributes.

Knight a defensive forward/niggler. Put him on guys like Selwood around stoppages after the centre bounce.

I don't have him best 22 - I just think he's quite limited and (notwithstanding his effort) doesn't do enough. He's okay depth but I'd play Milera, Gallucci, Seedsman and now Gibson ahead of him.

Gallucci comes in for Cameron, as gives us a quick tackling player.

Don't know a lot about Gibson apart from the durability. Who would his style look at replacing in our current team?

Milera plays every game.
Gooch plays most games
Doedee plays most if not all.
Poholke plays 5-10

Two of those gibbs, milera and Gooch should cover smith, Cameron and lever. I feel that Hartigan and Keith are fighting for a spot.

So from our gf side it's in gov, Gibbs, milera and doedee

Many have forgotten Keath's raw ability. I want to see us develop him as a utility tall, like Otten but fit.

- Taking a punt on Doedee over Kelly, higher ceiling

I’d like to see him aim to pick up Charles’s role. Pressure forward who can lead up to the wing and roll forward.

Agree.

We need to replace Smith with a great kick, otherwise too easy to nullify Laird & we are in strife with rebound.

Milera should be the 1st option & should be training with the defensive group... at running by for hardball receives & setting up play.

Would like to see us rotate midfielders through HBF too - Douglas, Gibbs, Sloane, Seedsman, Atkins, etc.

Hampton's .best value is as a midfielder/forward. Could rotate him with the likes of Greenwood & Sloane.
