no its not no way. do u see when one of guys is lining up for goal do u see hille in the goalsquare??? NO but when laycock is on the ground he is there all the time...

No need to get personal. Just because Laycock seems to work harder than Hille, doesnt make him a better player automatically. Do you even remember Hiles best? He has had games where he has had 30+ hitouts, or kicked 5 goals in a game. The problem is he just isnt consistent. Laycock isnt consistent enough yet either though. I think Laycock will be better than Hille in a year or so, but for now, I think Hille is still our #1 ruckman.

How the hell can u guys see David Hille as a ruckmen FFS he is terrible

not terrible, but its not his best position. I think he can work as a good 2nd or 3rd option and be played on the HF line.

I would love to see us draft a starting ruckman so Hille and Laycock can develop under them.

Your so bloody annoying.

Usually when Hilles in ruck and we have the ball he pushes up forward.
When Laycock is on the field he takes a rest in the interchange

R: Laycock McVeigh Winderlich

Davey and Lovett are good forwards, which creates a bit of a hassle because we need their speed at centre half forward or centre as their speed wont be utilized if they're stuck at pocket.

Laycock will become our primary ruckmen ahead of Hille. Hille is always going to be a secondary ruckmen, hasn't proved he's our best option, sometimes he has a fantastic game and other times he has terrible games. Laycock has looked more effective and promising over the past year.

I left Kepler Bradley out of the mix all together because I believe he'll be delisted this year, if not I do't think he's up to scratch with the Essendon side.

.

Thats a tall backline. I would probaly have welsh in a tagging role, and slattery as a small defender.

Slattery has proven himself as our best tagger, not so much Welsh. Although you're probably right about having a tall backline thats why I was suggesting spreading the small youngsters with speed amongst the whole field and not concentrated in certain areas. For instance having Jetta in the back, Dempsey and Winderlich in the centre and Lovett and Davey amongst the forward line, or an arrangement somewhat like that.

Has been known to play in the backline sometimes. At least for bendigo.
