Your clubs drafted best 22?

Simple thread, make a best 22 for your club that only includes players that your club has drafted either in the national or rookie draft, so no trades. Would your club be better or worse than it is today?

For Sydney

B: Cunningham, Aliir, Rampe
HB: Lloyd, McCartin, Dawson
C: McInerney, Mills, Parker
HF: Hayward, Heeney, Wicks
F: McLean, Membrey, Papley
FOLL: Nankervis, Mitchell, Hewett
I/C: Blakey, Rowbottom, Gulden, Jones

Out: Kennedy, Hickey, Franklin,
In: Aliir, Membrey, Nankervis, Jones, Mitchell

Swans are not the best club to do this task for given we have not had that many trades or free agents in recent memory but even so I think Sydney are better because of trades, especially in the forward line though we do lose out in defence having lost Aliir. Nankervis is a downgrade on Hickey too.

So what about your club?

Given the darkest period in the club's history, the carnage could have been worse.

Definitely worse, but probably a lot of fun for the neutral. We'd both kick and concede 16+ goals a game.

OUT: Aliir, Motlop, Dixon
IN: Impey, Wingard, S. Gray/HH

Strong midfield/rotating fwds but have lost 3 'missing pieces' in AA, Motlop and Dixon

Impey orginally debuted as a BP so to save him being Ken's got to forward (replacement for Dixon) he can go to BP. IIRC he did a good job on Ballantyne at least once.

HF: Spargo - Hogan - Neal-Bullen
F: Pickett - Weideman - Fritsch
R: Gawn - Petracca - Viney

Out: Brown, Hibberd, Langdon, Lever, May

In: Howe, Hogan

Still a reasonably solid side but trading has clearly improved our forward and back lines.

B: Docherty, Gardiner, Lester
HB: Crisp, Andrews, Rich
C: J. Berry, Yeo, McCluggage
HF: Rayner, Hipwood, Bailey
F: K. Coleman, McStay, Fullarton

I/C: Mathieson, Redden, Starcevich, Robertson

Out: Neale, Lyons, Cameron, McCarthy, Adams, Daniher, Robinson, Ah Chee
In: Yeo, Docherty, Crisp, Keays, Redden

2 AA in, 3 AA out though in terms of balance team still looks okay to me though the midfield and forward line weaker.

B Laird - Talia - Lever
HB Doedee - Keath - Smith
C Milera - Dangerfield - Sloane
HF Greenwood - Gunston - Schoenberg
F Cameron - Walker - Thilthorpe
R O'Brien - M. Crouch - Lyons

I Keays - B. Crouch - McGovern - Jones

Crows would be much stronger as expected

Not much missing. Lobb would probably be the only lock in best 22 atm when he stays (for Meek). Hamling needs to reclaim his spot after playing 1 game in 2 years. Those others we hope to replace by better youngsters anyway.

PS And now we have Brodie, too. No idea where he is at in our team atm.

Would’ve thought Langdon, Cerra, Neale and probably Sam Collins and Lachie Weller get a gig in that side…

Oh ok, I only removed players traded in, didn't add players traded out.

First 3 should be in for probably removing the 3 smaller player on the bench with some positions shifting as well. Collins probably takes Hamling's position to not make the team. Not sure about Weller based on this year, don't remember much from him. But he'll probably would be in for someone with less experience for a true best 22. Without any injuries there is always a few players too much:

In : Ellis Coleman-Jones Higgins

Emg : (Butler) Ross (Chol) Collier-Dawkins Aarts (Markov)

I would be adding Luke Breust. Put Brockman on the bench. Remove Maginness.

Then I would be putting Liam Shiels on the bench instead of Downie.
