Josh Kennedy. Whom Hawthorn traded to Sydney for peanuts, only to see him play a large part in Sydney defeating Hawthorn in a close grandfinal. Oh, and his bloodlines are practically Hawthorn royalty.

Practically?? Probably only the Abletts would go close to a more impressive family bloodline.

Yeah, the 2009 Round 22 game is pretty hard to go past. To end the reigning premiers season and make our first finals appearance for a few years was worth the flogging we got the following week.

Add to the fact that we hate their guts, perfection!

There are plenty on here that are too young to remember, but also plenty that remember the 83/84/85 grand finals against Hawthorn which take the cake for me and by a considerable distance.

Yes, we were smashed in the 1983 GF but it is that game which galvansied the sides of 84/85 imo.

1984 was a sweet sweet moment for a young Dons fan getting retribution for 1983, and to come from behind in the way we did made it all the more special. At the time I knew nothing of the EFC history and how success starved we'd been since the mid 1960s.

Then 1985.... take that!!!!!! The fact we sent Leigh Matthews off crying like a little bitch capped off a day where we almost touched football perfection.

2001 prelim final

We let them close enough just to break their piddly little hearts when it mattered.
