Who is your favourite AFL player? Mine would have to be Paul Kelly. He is sooo corageous.
I can't spell...

Also, what is your favourite guernsey number? Mine is number 5. So many legends have worn that number.

Agree with you on Kelly; gutsy footballer. But my favourite would be between Anthony Stevens and Brett Ratten. Really like the way they play the game, head down, talent and courage. Always get 100%

Nathan Brown- I am sooo over our typical gutsy battler type players such as libba etc. Browny because he represents class and youth- things our culture has always been lacking (except Grant).

Favourite number(s): 3- Grant, Whitten
7- West, Hawkins

At the Hawks, its Woodsy, worked damn hard to become a very good senior player. No is 23 and 5. Cant spilt them.

From the oppositition Im a Kelly fan too! Also have grudging respect for Libba, anyone with that much desire to play and the willingness to acheive that desire is okay by me.

My fave number is 5 and 23 also grendel

5 because ive been wearing it for ten years playing Basketball, and 23 cos black jesus (michael Jordan) wears it.

My favourite footy player of all time is Chris Lewis i was so sad when he retired but now it would probably be Benny Cousins, Jako and Roo.

Fav North player: Byron "Choppy" Pickett

Fav Opposition Player: Toss up Nathan Burke (
(biggest heart in the league) or David Wirrpunda (to many skills for just one player)

Fav No. 15 (Blighty you legend!!!)

Cheers

My top six at my club, Carlton, are Craig Bradley, Aaron Hamill, Andrew McKay, Matthew Allan, Brett Ratten and Anthony Koutoufides because of their skills and workman like attitudes. They all give 100% and they all do it well. Scott Camporeale would be in there but he is a bit of a whinger and sometimes gives up. Has anyone ever noticed it takes him about an hour to get up off the ground when he is in a pack?

My favourite players - Robert Harvey, Nathan Burke and Jason Cripps

Harvey and Burke for obvious reasons. Champion players, fiercely loyal and both modest characters.

Jason Cripps - An inspirational person. Most of us have trouble remembering back to 1997 when he was such an aggressive running defender. Since his hamstring injury early in 1998 where the tendon came apart from the bone, he has been down at the club more in the past three years than any other player, rehabilitating and as assistant coach of the reserves. He will be making his comeback next year when every saints supporters hearts will be in their mouths praying that he doesn't get injured.

My Fav Andrew McLeod

My Fav opposition player Nick Stevens

My fav all time player Plugga

My fav no 27 (mine) and 10 cos so many SA legends have worn it. Well Barrie Robran and all his relatives - Matthew & Jonathon Robran, Josh Francou.

To hirdhasbigears..you can send Scott Camporeale to Arden st anytime you like...dont know how you can bag one of the best players in the comp.. wouldnt mind him feeding the king with a few of those passes he makes Hamill and Whitnall look good with.
He can whinge all he likes..happy to have him
at North..bet the Tigers wouldnt mind him either after he destroyed them today.

Go Roos
