Has anyone actually looked back at the posts that were made at the start of this thread compared to the posts that are being made now??? Its quite interesting looking at the differences between the plans ppl had at the start of the season compared to the plans from here on in. At the start of the season most ppl had intended on trading out players such as higgins, suban, ziebel, grimes, sidey etc etc but now these players are appearing in alot of ppls final teams.

Just interesting to see how much plans change due to events that occur during the season

With the amount of trades you have left - considering the number of upgrades remaining - id certainly put hasleby (and maybe coughlan) down as keepers). Try to upgrade mbrown and hill mate - plenty of cheapish FW and Back options at the moment that people should be trying to make use of IMO.

I estimate that it will take me 2/3 downgrades (Zeibell, Robinson and maybe Suban/Walker) to do my 5 upgrades (Higgins, Rich, Raines, Sidebottom and Grimes).

Ideally, Grimes and Higgins will be practically straight swaps to undervalued premiums (might do Higgins -> O'Keefe this week and complete my forward line). Grimes will be my last upgrade probably to Hodge.

The rest of the plan is to use the Robinson downgrade money to upgrade Rich to an undervalued mid premium (S.Thompson, Cross, Kornes, etc) and use the Zeibell downgrade to upgrade both Raines and Sidebottom. Raines to someone undervalued and Sidebottom to Ablett when he hopefully drops to around 450-480k at some stage. (I have crunched the numbers and it all looks possible, however am more than happy to have to do one extra downgrade to get Ablett in.)

This will leave my final team looking like this with 5 trades saved for rainy days (I obviously expect to have issues in the coming weeks which will throw this plan into disarray):

Currently at 8869 - peaked at 31st after Round 2, then ran into some trouble through Simmonds/Browne/Jacobs and Scotland/Raines/Broughton, which caused me to cop four zeros between those two groups. Then a couple of rounds ago, I copped two forward zeros from Didak/Higgins/Brown/Lucas. Six zeros in total, but I am starting to rise - up from 14,419 last week. Have had my fair share of unluck so far
