100%. My water takes for ever to get hot except for the launrdy sink. I've assumed its because its a two story house so the water has more places it can flow to but no idea if that is how it works. I waste so much water just waiting for it to get hot.

Same here except every tap. Especially with the cold morning and nights at the moment. I assume we need a new hot water heater or maybe the pipes.

Length of pipe from hot water system to the tap, air temp and insulation all play a part .

i have a bucket in my shower in my ensuite. it fills up half way, about 4 litres before it comes thru hot as the HWS is in the middle of the house near kitchen, and main bathroom is not far from kitchen either - my ensuite however is far away from both.
i water the garden with that bucket every day

We do the same but only get about 3 or 4 cups worth my hot water is straight under my shower that goes in the bird bath daily

Theres a bucket in the sink that does the herbs on the verandah but its not just hot its all washing and rinsing

I'll loose my mind if it's a quiet day and something comes up that requires my attention for half hour or so late in the day. If I'm busy all day it doesn't worry me at all.

Usually 4pm Friday arvo, every campaigner youve ever had dealings with wants to call you after hearing from no one all day.

Yeah I hear ya, hate it when I get booked a 4pm meeting when I'm doing nothing all day, would rather all meetings be first thing.

I'm having what I call a "reactive day", answer emails and phone calls but doing nothing else (except play Nintendo)

Edit: Actually just thinking about it, I think I got a speeding fine rather than a Red light camera fine because the lights were still amber when I got flashed. Not sure how fast I was going through, hoping it's under 10 K over.

really? ive been using it about 7-8 times in last 6 weeks to get tickets for games at metricon and worked every time
