Given the $US9m salary cap and the values players were auctioned off at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPL_Auction_2011 who would you have chosen? My strategy would have been to go hard for the quality Indian players and get under rated overseas players. It seems to me most teams bought near the max of ten overseas players when only four can play in one game- go figure but I did the same anyway to make it more realistic. Anyway this is who I would have gone for (basically to get the price I paid for each I added 25,000 to what they did end up going for).
