Handed in a scorecard today that was absolutely woeful. Never to be mentioned again.

On a positive note a former local who now plays on the european/challenge tour dropped in for the comp today and the club was abuzz. Would have loved the chance to play in his group but not to be. Always find I perform better when playing with better golfers than myself.

I had 34pts off a hcp of 14 today. It didn't help that I had a lost ball from my very first tee shot. It was slightly off line and it disappeared. The earth must of ate it ffs!

Had a lesson yesterday for the first time in a year or so... Plane and angles were not looking too bad... I was flabbergasted when our assistant pro said.. "How much do you know about Kinematic Sequencing" Ohhhhh FFS!!

So it sounds scary and horrible... but basically it is about the sequence that you fire your levers... "Ground up" is the correct sequence, which basically means your hips go first, then shoulders, arms and finally hands. So after 5 shots on camera it was pretty clear that I was Shoulders first which was creating all sorts of issues!!

So looks like I will be working on Firing my hips and holding back my downward shoulder turn in the short term, will be interesting to see how it goes!!

Hey Peter,

How much is it to get on with a member at the national? Is it possible?

iDon
Hi I (or is it Don, and I is your surname) :D

guests are welcome. on weekends i think its $110-$115. But you cant simply pick and choose the course to play. at cape schanck (where im at), one course is for guests ALL DAY, one for members only (no peasants allowed), and the third is open to guests AFTER midday.

know a member?

How about during the week? I am a teacher so plenty of holidays coming up

Played Traralgon late yesterday

To my surprise what a magnificent course
Greens are some of the best I've played on.

Highly recommended if you're in the area.

Bairnsdale this morning in about 2 hours time

pretty happy with my hit yesterday in the heat. well it was a little cooler at national.

drives were spot on, flushing 5 rescue like nobodys business. pitching wedge was dialed in too. graduated to a full swing with decent results. no bunkers!!!

the best ive ever played at the Range.
