A guy a few groups behind us yesterday hit my provisional ball which was on his fairway (great golf by me hey). I told him after he hit it that it was my ball and his ball was further up, instead of penalising himself and playing the correct ball he just continued playing my ball for the rest of the hole. Then saw him again a handful of holes later and he threw my ball back to me lol..

Rules are clearly optional in the mind of some people.

That is an interesting choice...

Minus holes 3-6, shot hte lights out including an Eagle on the 12th into a strong breeze, 3 birdies and nearly breaking 80.

The course was fun to play. Sadly the conditioning was subpar. Many areas are patchy along the fairways and even just off fairways resembled barren dirt. If you'd be parachuted in blindfolded you may feel you're at a poorly funded municipal course. Greens were pretty good i must say, they were true. Bunkers were quite poor and perhaps the countdown to the clubs death is playing a part.

consistent front and back, with one maybe two lost balls. Yes 2. Pribably mid 80s score

Went to 18 knowing he needed birdie to win medalist honors...and birdie is what he got.

6 schools looking at him pretty closely..decision time is November.

Pretty amazing he will get to level up to college--as you guys know, not easy to do.

Today was just about the best weather conditions I’ve ever played in.
Not a breath of wind, just perfect.
37 pts, but disappointed as only 4 points in last 3 holes, and 3 putted each of those 3.
Looking fwd to the day it all comes together.

It was v foggy early yesterday a bit further down the coast. But cleared quickly. 3 hours is mass.

Hit an Eagle today. Par 5 12th was playing short, forward tees with breeze behind. Smoked a drive, had 145m to the pin, hit it 145 about a foot and a half right of the flag. Also parred the next 2 boles that I get a shot on. Played well.

Saturday coming up at Sandy. Don't love the course TBH but that's more due to the fact takes 5 hours for such a short course. Great value price point though.

5 hours on a par 65 is no bueno. Guessing that with that many par 3s, groups can't help but get backed up unless they put massive time gaps in there?

Had that round where it (almost) all came together. 43 points and 86 off the stick. Both PB’s!

And I’m down to 19.6, which is 5.7 down in the same time last year.

Putting has improved massively in the last two weeks.

Yes it was. A very long day and it showed in the last few holes we were hanging for the sanctuary of the car. but that time allowed unnecessary range time, but necessary short game practice.

but despite scarifying of fairways, the course presented in usual way. 3/18 GIR. But used local knowledge and guile to achieve just under whats commonly acceptabe considering 3 wipes. Shortest holes were my nemisis. Dont think i lost a ball.

I'm almost lost for words. A 17 on a par 3? For everyone's sanity surely you make a rule to pick up after 5over on the hole? That did not look in any way to be a fun day out.

peninsula kwood Composite Course. Great fun, offering something different and smooth routing in general with the occasional longer walk than usual. No balls lost. Scored okay.

I’d like to make an argument for finishing par rounds(subject to your playing partners) as soon as you win or lose your match against the course.

You could have walked off the 15th green at 4 and 3.

Got the chipping yips something shocking at the moment. Anything inside 50m from the green I absolute dread lately. Been grinding away practicing in my spare time last few weeks and it looks great in practice but still shit on the course.

That and bunkers absolutely destroyed me last weekend. Had 32 points with 5 wipes.
