well i dont really hate any supporters, i think they hate me. if you ever sit near me in a footy match you will start hating all melbourne supporters coz i scream non stop and i have a very loud voice! i stick up my banners and block everyone's view and i wave my flags and poke people in the eye. i fight with anyone who has anything bad to say about my supporting and of course my team and if anyone pisses me off (players and umpires that is) i will very nicely tell them to **** off.
so after what i do at the footy i dont think i should say anything about other supporters except for that carlton ****head who pushed me off my chair in this years final after melbourne won! he was a real shocker!

Richmond (all the Richmond supporters I know continually crap on how great their club is despite their crap record of the last 20 years).

Carlton (bunch of arrogant pricks).

Essendon (used to be an ok bunch of yobbos, but have now attracted the bandwagon element).

St.Kilda (bunch of yobbos full stop!).

Adelaide (bunch of yobbos with bad dress sense).

Melbourne (not as bad as the above, but one of those teams which seems to have vocal supporters - but only when they're winning!).

the nerdiest supporters are st kilda ones,their cheer squad has an average ae of 60 I reckon !
The worst are Carlton as they go on boasting they are the greatest this and greatest that when in actual fact essendon are the greater than them - more members,more supporters,better list etc etc than carlton.

I will generalise and give my ladder of most hated supporters. My descriptions do not apply to any bigfooty users of course.

1. Essendon (uneducated ferals, is there anything they don't win)
2. Adelaide (morons, suffer from little brother syndrome)
3. West Coast (blinkered idiots, there are 15 other clubs)
4. Carlton (arrogant)
5. Collingwood (aggresive yobbo's)
6. Richmond (drunken hooligans)
7. Port (haven't quite hit the hated heights as back home, but with success will move up the ladder)
8. North (those that turn up are generally abusive)
9. Sydney (complete lack of knowledge - how many could name another swans player other than plugger)
10. Western Bulldogs (impoverished and very ugly)
11. Hawthorn (aloof and smug after all those glory years)
12. Brisbane (whingers - libba scratched me, the bullies are mean etc)
13. Melbourne (obnoxious when winning)
14. Geelong (country bumpkins that occasionally get nasty)
15. Fremantle (insignificant)
16. Saints (still passionate considering how many kicks in the teeth we get, the greatest of all supporters)

Speaking from experience, well that is a good thing but if you had been to more say, Hawthorn games for example, would you say Hawthorn?

I have heard the Richmond cheersquad has a bad reputation. Apparantly it is full of middle aged men who get very abusive and very drunk. Quite different from the Bombers cheersquad that seems to be full of teenage girls.

Mags I am aware of plenty of them from the days of the Bears, actually one year we down to about 800 members!!

For reasons to do purely with personal experience, my 2 that I don't like (well generally, I have actually found some that I do like), are Bulldogs and North fans.

RF1, I have seen more Hawthorn games than Richmond. I used to live 2 minutes away from Waverley, so I got to see plenty of Hawthorn games. Don't take offense to my remarks about Richmond supporters being drunks, I used to love goung to Richmond games. It was always so much fun and their is no more of a passionate football supporter than a TRUE Richmond supporter.

CIK, Maybe you should change your statement to, I have never seen the Kangaroo's lose to Port, because I have seen the Kangaroos lose plenty of times. So maybe you should shut your mouth until you get your facts right.

Since all clubs have an enormous range of supporters, from the most crass and stupid through to sane and sensible and likeable, I think the only possible answer to a question such as "Your most hated supporters whilst at the footy" can't possibly be given in terms of "that clubs supporters" or "this clubs supporters". No, its way to much of a generalisation. As I say, all clubs have good and bad followers.

The only sensible answer I can think of to the question "Your most hated supporters whilst at the footy" is ... those supporters who think they are better than everyone else. Those supporters capable of holding out-and-out prejudices such as this very question implies. Those supporters who would frame such a question as this in the first place.

Those are the ones I would say I dislike the most.

My facts were fine. So the FACT that your team have never beaten North, would have nothing to with your vote for North supporters as the worst, would it ?
Your own inability to deal with loss is showing through - though you have had enough practice at it.
