Don't like the sound of that, looks like we are going to need a name and shame thread for online quitters.
 
I can definately name and shame.. Found out who it was, but in Quick match there is no way to tell who your playing against. His reliability rating it 36 (avoid) which is all good but theres no way of seeing this

If you're on PS3 you can look at "players met".

Then for some reason changed to Gold Coast and lost by a goal after the siren.. Horibble skills and always out bustled in Marking contests.. Still have a very healthy %


Only 13 people on the leaderboard so hard to find a game on Xbox atm.

I think we punish quitters well enough, we do have to be sure which side quit before the harshest penalty. There will be a post tomorrow outlining the rationale, there shouldn't be a need for a name and shame thread (except for a rant I guess!).

While quitters do get pretty fairly punished I think it should count as a loss to the person who quit and a win to the other person, if someone is 6 goals up and the other person quits its pretty unfair to the person who is up to not get a win next to their name.
 
2-0 so far, with a % of about 556.:D I'm ranked 26th.

Had 2 guys quit out on me, although I think one may have been a disconnect as I am pretty sure the next match was against the same guy and he stayed throughout the thumping I gave him.

Consensus at the moment is that everyone is woeful online, nobody really knows what they're doing. My first match was pretty contested early on with the guy able to take numerous marks over me, but he just couldn't score, ended up kicking about 10 goals in a row at the end of the match though.

Will be good to play against some non-n00bs soon.

im now 2-2. Should be 6-2, but 4 people quit on me. My XP is at like 17000, yet I am ranked with the people with 10000xp. Its gay.
I should have been ranked #10 before my last game.
 
1-1 at the moment, first game was a close one, I won by 2 goals, he should've beaten me in the last quarter with his 0.6 to my 1.0. Second game I got absolutely slaughtered 80something to 7. :eek:

First game was very exciting, went goal for goal in the last, ended up losing by 3 points with 40 seconds left :eek:

Playing co-op online with a mate too - so much better as you can get your mate to create leads. Very smooth online.

I'm 5 from 5. Had some pretty good games. Kicked the last 4 goals to win by 5 points in the last match I played. Seems as though it punishes the wrong person for quitting or both.

Have never quit a match and have had 2 quitters on me and my record shows 6 played, 4 wins and 1 forfeit??
It has now given me a user rating of 78 - poor.
