Never enough bloodflow to get both the brains working :D its always either or ;)

I imagine for the poor bastards out there with tiny phalluses they probably have enough blood to keep both "brains" going at the same time. Not me though... sometimes if I'm getting really fired up I need a doctor on hand in case an emergency blood transfusion is required.

Told this story a few times here.

Byards rd Happy Valley SA 15 years ago
Driving one night about 1am , clear night , full moon , see a bloke walking same direction up ahead , wearing a robe.
1st thought is " senile old bloke gone walkabout "
Pull alongside , slow down and see bloke just walking staring up at the moon , he never looked at me or knew i was there.
Was a mates dad who'd passed away maybe a month earlier.
Same robe he wore around their house.
This was maybe 3 km away from where he lived ( he was headed in that direction too )

Another mate ( who'd never met the deceased ) went to my mates house and told me he saw a bearded man standing at the end of their hallway one day

I used to live on Byards Road.

If you knew who he was and where he was going, then why didn't you offer him a lift?

Wasn't all that keen on having a ghost in my car

Strange , i know lol
I admit i was baked but it just seemed too surreal to actually be happening.
Slept in his house after he'd passed and felt him there too.

Lovely bloke who always had time for me so i assume he was acknowledging me.

My best mates wifes brother was at their house 1 day after he'd died , had never met him.
After they left the brother said " Was ######'s dad tall , bald with a white beard and wore a bath robe ???? "

Response was yes.

He'd seen old mate standing at the end of their hallway in the middle of the day

PS - i was 27 Byards 87-88 then 92-93 , up the hill on the opposite side of the school.

Not my last name but do the names " Skelton " and " Oppermann " ring any bells ?

So you knew he had passed away? I think I misread your original posting. My bad.

Yeah was less than a month after iirc.
Maybe he was in limbo or some spaced-out shit like that.

It's not my experience but my brother in law's, which is kind of related to a friend's experience too, if I have the location right...

There's a park/lake in my town, where my brother in law thought he saw a... well, I think he'd describe it as a beast dog of some sort. He refuses to go back to that park at all.

Related to that is my friend, coming home drunk one evening, coming in and crashing out in the kitchen - except when his dad found him in the morning he'd barricaded the door with various things, and had he had no memory as to why. I want to say it was the same park.

This isn't any strange or unexplained footage that I've seen my self. Rather, it was some things mentioned in a documentary I saw quite a few years back. I'm trying to recall this as accurately as I can and not f*ck this up too much.
There were a whole range of incidents mentioned, but two of them really struck a chord with me - bigtime.

The first one was some evidence given by a Cop in the US. He reckoned he saw something in the sky one night. I can't recall if he said it was straight overhead, or in the distance....or if it was just a bright light, or a clearly defined object. Nor can I recall whether he only saw it briefly, or for a fair while (several minutes or more). But what I do remember is what he said after he witnessed this object. He said he "came to" (regained consciousness) in his police car....which was upside down on it's roof in the middle of a corn field (I think?), where there were no tyre tracks nearby, and all the corn around the car was upright, not flattened. It was if his police car was just placed there on it's roof. And whatever this object was in the sky previously, it was gone when he woke up in this field, and he could not remember/explain at all how he got there. And I'm pretty sure the car was in good nick....not all banged up, like it had been in a crash. If this Cop was making this up in an interview, then he's got bigger stones than I do.

The other incident was from a bloke that claimed to have made contact with some intelligent beings/creatures. Not real sure on all the details, but I don't think he was "abducted", as such. Trying to remember this as best as I can. He reckoned these creatures didn't speak, but were communicating with him mentally/telepathically, or some such. And while they "conversed" about different things, what stuck with me was the one particular issue these alleged beings really tried to hammer home - they thought humankind's technological achievements and advancements had way, way, waaaaay outstripped our "moral sense" as an intelligent species. Again, if this bloke was making this up in an interview, then he's got more guts than I do.

In regards to all this, none of what I mentioned above is word for word, but as close as I can recall.

I have been looking for this thread. About a month ago my three children, wife and I were having dinner when we all heard a big bang come from the closest bedroom. I hopped up and went and checked that room and then all the other rooms as well. Nothing at all. Except my wife and daughter went into her, the closest bedroom and a wooden car a grandparent had made was upside down.
There is no way that this car could have flipped itself by itself. It is modelled on a 1930's style car. It was on sturdy ground and nothing can explain how it flipped.
My daughter was freaking out. My wife was giving me the evil eye when I was saying it couldn't have flipped itself. Wrong answer. Usually something like this would be enough for me to be spooked. Surprisingly, I haven't really thought much of it except for the odd query to oneself of how did this happen.

In 1985, when I was a very young Soldier I was the gunner for my section. That entailed carrying a machine gun (M-60) and a few hundred blank rounds.

On the first exercise with my new Bn, I was stood too at dusk, dutifully looking over my sights just in case the Musurian Liberation Army decided to attack. I have to educate you a little here - the gun is the last thing to fire, you don't want the bad guys to know where it is, and if you have grenades, it's better to use them than firing any rifle, because the opposition cant see you throw a grenade but can see your muzzle flash if you shoot. As this was the eighties, we where also using 1st gen NVG.

Anyhow, a few minutes before dusk, my#2 pointed out a "moving bush", we assumed it was the enemy scouting us. We did the right thing and alerted the pit next to us, and our Section Commander behind, all without making a noise. As dusk turned to dark, the enemy got a little bolder, and the pit next to us got the nod to throw a "grenade" (a whizz bang). When the grenade simulator went off, I had my head down as I was wearing NVG's, but when I lifted my head, 3 very large fuzzy figures popped up. We followed our ROE, and gave another 2 tugs on our comms cord. which meant we are getting close to firing(aka HELP!) . At that signal, out Sect Commander lit up our ambush light (a white flare mounted on a tree) - when that flare lit up, I knew we had an issue.

I only had blanks, but I let rip, my training must have been good because I fired my 50 rd belt off in short bursts, and one of the guys in the next pit threw another wizz bang and that's when we got a good look at what we had assumed was a couple of Soldiers in ghilllie suits - lets say 7 foot tall and 2 pick handles across the shoulders, reddish full body hair, a flat face with a boxers nose, no discernible ears, and a scream that no man could imitate. One ran through our harbor, and it wasn't one of our colleagues playing a joke.

Needless to say, the 12 of us spent a very uncomfortable night wishing our rounds were real :)
Great story, can somewhat relate as a "choco" although I've never seen any monsters! Where was this exercise held?

Sleep paralysis is a horrible thing, yes i know and i read the scientific explanation but i cannot for the life of me think why i keep seeing this one evil figure all of my life. I have sleep paralysis for 20 years and this bastard has to be around every single time. I am doing ok getting little sleep for now, almost scared to fall asleep really.

I used to try and induce sleep paralysis during my astral projection phase. Never achieved astral flight, but the process of trying to get there involved the most intense meditation.

I remember once after a really busy day in front of the computer my eyes were bugged out. Did the astral attempt, body totally numb from lack of movement and I started to see a ghostly like vision. Totally understood it was probably eye strain, yet got these intense shivers flowing through me and the brain started to convince itself I was indeed in the presence of a ghost.

I gave up the meditation, and have gone back to abusing alcohol and taking drugs like a normal person.

Interesting experience just last night. I dream't I was about to have sex with a lass and jumped on her so fast I smashed the aggots. Woke up and thought 'goddamn it, even asleep me is a horny creep.'

Turned over and felt a sharp pain in my testicle. Either a massive coincidence of me dreaming of getting hit in the most unholy while simultaneously causing my real testicle pain by either accidental contact or some kind of bodily contortion...or the ghost I was trying to **** has kicked me in the balls.
