I guess the fabric is made out of hemp. One has to keep up appearances.

Weekend Wrap and "Liked, Learned, Hated" right here -- How did tipping go?
No surprise really to see ASADA walk away, cut their losses and move on. The DPP's, State and Federal do it all the time. Abbott won't be inclined to throw good money after bad. With the date pushed right before the start of the season I expect the AFL will at least attempt to clear the players. Knowing it will spark outrage they want to redirect as much attention as possible to the start of the season. Similar to how Governments take out their trash on Christmas eve
For mine it's not really about the decision the AFL give but whether or not ASADA appeal. I would be very surprised if the players got off and Asada did nothing.
Third time lucky- back it in BlackandRed World.Like he was confident there would be no SCN's. Like he was confident they would win at the Federal court.![]()
Don't think Tones will be able to feed any inclinations for too much longer, but sadly there is truth in what you say. C'wealth prosecutors are especially risk averse. No surprise really to see ASADA walk away, cut their losses and move on. The DPP's, State and Federal do it all the time. ASADA could/would appeal such a lenient sentence though.IMO if the players are found guilty the following will likely happen:
a) players get 6 months (after backdating due to delays and no sig fault)
b) players eligible to return round 7 (6 months from Nov 14-May14)
c) players then don't appeal
c) EFC uses top up players for first 6 rounds (incl. ANZAC)
d) players return round 7
e) matter is over
f) Jobe then keeps Brownlow (at AFL's discretion)

Might do. Maybe not though.
"An argument of No Significant Fault or Negligence is considered much more likely to be palatable to ASADA."

Exactly. When Paul Little says:Don't always believe what you read.
“We remain confident in the position of our players and will continue to support them unconditionally throughout this stressful time.”
Geez, who looks worst? Heppel, Sheedy or Long?Sheeds is back Little and Hird are confidence embodied.....
