If we had a full list it’s actually a blood hard 22 to pick. I’ve got 2 of Atkins Douglas and Knight missing and have Fogarty Murphy Hartigan missing, and this is all without our 2018 draft pick. But we all know well have injuries and Mackay will make his way in

    E Knight - Cheney - Fogarty - (2018 1st)

    My team:

    B: Brown Talia Doedee
    HB: Laird Keath Milera
    C: Seedsman Gibbs Smith
    HF: Lynch Walker Gallucci
    F: Murphy Jenkins Betts
    R: Preuss / Hickey, Sloane, M Crouch
Int: B Crouch, Atkins, Greenwood, Fogarty

Emg (from): Knight, Douglas, O’Brien, Cheney, Hartigan, Himmelberg, Lukosius, Mackay, CEY, Jacobs, Davis, Otten, whoever our 2nd and 3rd picks in the draft are (assuming both are top 22ish).

    Never play under any circumstances:
Kelly (would attempt to trade as steak knives)
    Signorello (would delist)
    Wilson (classic SANFL only player)
Poholke (do not rate at all)
McPherson (needs to actually get on the park in 2019 at SANFL level before being considered for senior selection in 2020)

    * Note 1: If we end up drafting Rankine instead of Lukosius, Izak steps straight in to the Round 1 side, replacing Murphy or Gallucci (one of those 2 will probably struggle to establish themselves in the preseason which would make the decision easier)

    * Note 2: If we don’t manage to secure either Preuss or Hickey via trade, then we may as well not even play a ruckman. Jacobs is finished and it’s hard to watch. I’d throw O’Brien in to see what that looks like for 3 weeks.

    * Note 3: I’m playing Fogarty as a genuine swingman. Can play forward when required in a McGovern type role, can float to half back when required in the type of role McGovern played against Carlton in Round 23. Too much talent there to leave out of the side, especially after a full preseason, further maturing, natural improvement and with Gov out of the picture.

    F: Betts, Jenkins, Murphy/Knight
    R: Jacobs, Mrouch, Brouch
    I/C: Greenwood, Atkins, Gibbs, Cheney
    Em: Murphy/Knight, Douglas, Fogarty, Mackay

No Gov, no Rankine/Rozee/whoever else we draft, no Preuss/whoever we might trade in

    R: Jacobs - Mrouch - Sloane
INT: Gallucci - Gibbs - Greenwood - Knight.

Would be my guess, ignoring trades.

Really, anyone we draft will only get a small amount of game time (<10 games) so not worth factoring in. We take development slowly, and methodologically.

Replace Fog and the second Gibbs with Mackay and Brad Crouch and that could definitely be our side.

For those who has the Rat missing round 1

He finished top 10’B&F so he won’t slide out of our best 22 that quickly

Instead of thinking for myself, I'd rather just back the club in.

don't forget Smith is now back and he and the seed would make a very formidable centreline with B Crouch in the middle..competition for spots will be tough if all have a good preseason and all are fit

It's very hard to know how we are going to trade.
I'm going to assume we're going to get a new 1st ruckman, cos we clearly don't rate ROB enough to even give a terrible Jacobs a spell.

Other than that, we'll see. Also have to assume everyone is fit.

    B Laird - Talia - Brown
    HB - Keath - Milera - Doedee
    C Seedsman - Brouch - Rat
HF Lynch - Jenkins - Gallucci
    F Betts - Walker - Knight
    R New Ruck - Sloane - Mrouch
    I Greenwood - Atkins - Gibbs - Smith

Interesting, as I leave out Murph who I really rate. He'll play plenty.
Awsome running long kicking half back/wingers in the team, Milera, Seed, Smithers.

Older blokes are now depth and will be competing with the new kids for spots! Like!
Murph, Fog, Himmelberg, draft picks vs Sauce, Mackay, Dougie, Kelly, Cheney.

Fogarty is definitely getting 15+ games at this point of time. We rate him far too highly not for it to occur when a blooding spot opens.

2nd Gibbs for Brouch I'd concede though.
