The Cats clearly best team of 2007. Dream run capped off with a premiership. To be honest not the most exciting Grand Final to watch from a neutrals point of view.
Chapman played a blinder.

Shocking loss for Port. Almost felt sorry for them.

Geelong were scary. A lot of talent running around in navy hoops.

Well... it's there day today so to be fair sports we should all congratulate them. We'll have our turn soon enough, if the team are disciplined and want it bad enough.

Well done Cats , they were never going to lose this one with 44 years of pain driving them.

The thing that impressed me was the selflessness in that it was always about the team and the club and the town, not individuals.

It makes a huge difference when everybody is behind supporting , no one wanted to let the club down.

I did feel sorry for Port , especially the Cornes & Burgoynes who tried their hearts out.

Had to laugh at Huddo "I have seen it , but I still don't believe it"

besides playing playing ultimate team footy they have played brave footy - going into the corridor at every oportunity and backing their skills not to turn it over while in the corridor.

Their window is definitely open for 2008 and pssibly 2009.

They "accountable footy"-ed Port off the park today. Deserved to win.

On a bright note, I think that makes Freo the only team in the comp not to lose a GF. :D

Yeah, it got a tad boring after the 5 minute mark of the first quarter...

Boring? I'm from SA so I like the Crows, hate port. Fantastic GF capped off by Stevie Johnson winning me 170 for the norm smith :) That capped off a good week in which I won 35 on Bartel! (I had 2.75 on him in MAY after he was 13-1)

Take that Port.

Chad Cornes and Choco especially.....Thats what you get for being Arrogant twats during the week and thinkign you had the game in the bag....hahahahahaha :D

Geelong got what they deserved - Best team in the comp one the holy grail.

Go the Pussy Cats :D

Awesome display of selfless TEAM playing, well done Geelong! No doubt we will hear how the Cats have raised the benchmark and set the trend for 2008 many, many times.
Hope the Dockers take a leaf out of Geelongs book...hope we only have to play them once next season and preferably at Subi...:)

Must have been a treat for the Cats fans to sit back for more than a half of footy without a concern they would get rolled.

The team played great, good on them.

Cant say I'm sorry about Port getting into the record books as the biggest flogging in GF history.

Thought it was great...was pretty entertaining with how geelong never stopped trying even when they have clearly won.

Did you all notice that every Cats player, when receiving their medal took the time to pay attention to the little kid, shake their hand and give them a cap.:thumbsu:

After the effort from last year's premiers it was good to see:).

I thought Geelong were a real class outfit. Played for each other, respectful of opponents and occassion and their club. Their defence was incredible.

On the other hand i thought mark williams came in thinking port were just happy to be there. All week he was very jovial and even went on the footy show. He seemed a little too relaxed and maybe it rubbed off on the younger kids who didnt seem up to it. Ports more experienced players played pretty well and if it wasnt for them it woulda got even more ugly if thats even possible. Great season tho for Port.
