It's appalling that all those rubbish "talent" shows value R&B stylings over everything else.It makes me sick. I chose singers that may not be "technically" perfect but have heart and are unique.
Male:
1: John Lydon- PIL/Sex Pistols
2: Graham Lewis- Wire/Dome/Solo work
3: Humphrey B.Flaubert (Damien Cowell)- TISM

Female:
1: Bjork
2: Lisa Gerard- Dead Can Dance
3: Claudia Brucken- Propaganda
My preference was always Rons songs. I guess it's a bit like the Lennon/McCartney argument. Both are great and each individual fan has their preference.
I wonder if Peter had started a solo career whether it would have been more successful than Damian's? In my humble opinion it very much would have been.
I guess you could even say HBF is more your McCartney while RHB is more your Lennon.

Im loving the Mike Patton love in here. Phenomenal voice. Just insane his range and ability to sing different styles. His cover of 'I Started a Joke' is spine tingling - when you consider how incredibly talented the Gibbs boys are.

1. Freddie Mercury
2. Mike Patton
3. Whitney Houston

Freddie is quite simply the best ever. A weird looking bloke with awful teeth who could quite simply bring a house down.

And Whitney was Aretha on steroids. So much talent destroyed by money and fame.

1. Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge, The Mayfield Four)
2. Mike Patton (Faith No More, Mr Bungle, Tomahawk)
3. Danny Estrin (Voyager)
