Im so pissed off. I had 3 people who I thought would be brilliant.

They all decide to have a brilliant preseason

Thanks alot Stevens, Roughead and Selwood

Selwood is a bummer.

Not many have Stevens and like no-one has Roughy. I wouldn't worry.

Kidding yourself if you think Selwood would have been close to unique, the only thing going against him is Bryce Gibbs.

Roughead and Stevens will remain unique-ish.

Anyone taking the risk on Chappy after two great games?

Very close to.

Only problem I have (and it's been discussed a bit in another thread) is that there's the risk he'll be 'managed' at the end of the year if Geelong are flying.

If he plays 22 games he's got a huge chance of being the highest scorer in the forwards.

My thoughts exactly lifelike. But on the plus side, if he does start getting man managed at the end of the year and you still have a few trades left, you can trade him out and feel fairly confident you have enough trades left, as opposed to him going down in the middle of the year. I have a few players with less than brilliant durability on my team, Chappy included so I'm going to be trying my hardest to save my trades until the end.

my most unique player was gonna be josh hunt i reckon he was set for a big year with the way rolling zones and geelong dominating.

and there ia no way that selwood was ever gonna be that unique.

Add another one to my unique player list then. I'm starting to have quite a few now.

Not sure about having a unique player, but I think I've ended up with a unique squad. I've managed to get a starting 22 with only 1 player below $180k and even then that player isn't a rookie.

is Brad Daziell unique?
Some think he is expensive. Brad will prove them wrong by seasons end

Sure he's unique! Who would get a second year off-the rookie list player when you could get Harvey, Hayes, Cooney, Mitchell just to name a few for less! He would be the gambler's choice.

Unique hmmm I don't know. Well I suppose my team's unique in that I don't have Naitanui as my no. 1 reserve ruck. Actually what do you think is he worth that position for his price? Do you think he'll actually score well with Cox and Seaby?

Another one, what do you think of Paul Johnson in the ruck? I don't have him but was seriously considering him. Riske I know but I think he could be one of the better rucks to pick for dream team points.

Considering he is out for about half the year, I dont think you will be that unique ;)

Obviously you're new to the site, nobody has Naitanui. Don't think Johnson would be a great choice, played nearly 100 minutes per game last year which is a lot for a ruckman, so Jamar being out won't help him that much. Although he did have a good end to the year, scoring 75, 98, 80, 88, 69 in his last 5 games. If he could keep that up he might be a decent choice, but at that price I'd rather McIntosh.

Okay well yeah this is the first time I've looked at the dream team forums. Okay fair enough about Naitanui.

I don't think I would rather McIntosh. Maybe if he does get going, like his pre-injury self but he just doesn't seem to be playing well.
Also his pre-season NAB scores were like 20, which even though you can say it's just pre-season doesn't matter, is worrying.

Maybe the most unique players for many teams will be in the No.4 ruckman spot. Cheap, but a bit of a risk because they won't be relied on.
