vlad add a "this poll is stupid" button....it will win...Sorry to be harsh.

Rawlings and Stuey are both still young!!

The coach has a list of whom he wants and whom he doesn't, don't expect too many delisting in the next few weeks. He will want a chance to speak to the match committee, senior players, medical staff (to see who was carrying what all year) and the footy manager to see who is around and who is wanted by other clubs.

Look, the fact that they are young means nothing. Cochrane has shown time and time again that he is not up to it at seniour level, IMO.
Rawlings is a huge dissapointment, who after captaining the Under17 All-Australian team few years ago has lost all confidence, and has not developed at all. You could even say that his poor disposal cost us that final.
I am not at all saying that he should be let go, and it is possible that the refreshment of a new coach is all he needs. What I am saying is that his poor form warrants his name appearing on the poll to give other supporters a chance to voice their opinion.

1. Stick with Rawlings definitely ... at least he knows what he has do with the football ... it just doesn't go where he wants it to.

2. Cochrane ... not sure ... I will leave it to to coaching staff ... someone has to tell him though that the football is not a boiling kettle!!!

I think theres a quality footballer in Rawlings somewhere, but for both partys sake I think he would be better off at another club.

Cochrane had his best season undoubtebly this year. Wouldnt be disappointed if he was cut but it would be tough to drop someone after there best season to date. Laidley may bring out the best of him.

I think playing more youngsters will result in the middle of the road to fringe players not playing as many games as they would this year. For example a player like Ben Robbins (not having a go at him he is a gun) may spend 5 to 6 or more weeks in the 2nds to make room for some of the youngsters Eg. Harris, Smith. Other players would probably be in the same position. Also the older players who would of considered themselves certs to play seniors will have to perform or the youngsters will snatch there places.

We may also see his philosephy of longevity for the older players sooner than expected.
