Btw, AmericanCrow the only reason the NFL didn't/doesn't recognize the AAFC titles and games is all the AAFC's fault.

When the two leagues merged, the NFL requested all the AAFCs scoresheets/stats for all the games played so that they could incorporate them into the ongoing NFL record keeping, but the AAFC refused to give them.

When the AFL and NFL merged, the NFL asked the same of the AFL, who handed them over, thus, all their stats were able to be incorporated.
NFL propaganda

It has been argued that the league’s stats were sketchy, but Donnan Sinn, the 49ers’ team historian, said he is in possession of “The All-America Conference Record Manuals,” which he said, “are similar and as detailed in every way as the NFL’s books.”

Always been furious that the Browns came into league and won title right away and dominated the NFL.

Just pettiness that the NFL carries into today—thus our unfavored status on calls

;)

The official AAFC stats were requested so they could be added to the NFL records, but the AAFC and teams did not provide.

A team historian today providing stats for one or two games is not the same thing.

Theres no conspiracy, just incompetence from the AAFC.

1950s interesting. Post-war. Players had been thru hell in WW2, that when they came back, football seemed like a playground, so many hard tough players, throwing each other over sideline benches, elbows, fights, throwing their bodies into hits, etc, they were having fun with it all.

Also had so much fun with laterals galore. Tons of crazy plays, wild ad lib action.

Great breakdowns by DB and AQ.

Obviously, a little bit of silliness in there given the show, but great segments each week.

The Pagano keys to the game can be interesting too.

Here's an old time coach rant at a post-game press conference that has slipped thru the cracks of history

My favourite line was after his initial rant : "he did a sensational ******* job, kicked 7 god damn errr ahhh errrr.... field goals."
