YPOTY final standings

After a concern that this year would be dominated by Bird and Jack they certainly took the top 2 spots but we saw the emergence of another contender in White who may have got this had he played up forward more. Brett Meredeth and Nick Smith also getting nominations.

Regarless Bird took the inaugural YPOTY year award by just half a nomination despite spending the last several weeks on the sidelines.

In the debacle that was last nights B & F do people want to see if it's possible to approach the club as a supporter group and award trophies or something? if we put 20 of us put in 10 bucks we could get 2 $80 trophies and get them engraved? one for the POTY and one for the YPOTY, other clubs on bigfooty certainly do this.

I really like this idea, I'd be more than happy to chip in. Would be great to be able to contribute to the night. (Maybe one of us could present it? )

we need to be serious on this if we want to do it coz it would take some working out 2 do have to find the right people to get in contact with at the club...or do we just rock up at the end of the year with a trophy at the club an explain what its for

Yeah and we'd have to find a way to get the money together etc. I do think it's a great idea though, we could have like a BF table at the Awards night and all sit there nice and proud of our winners.
