Of couse we're desparate for success - what club isn't?

Would we pay that sort of coin for any individual at our club (coach or player)? If we had a multi millionaire benefactor - you bet! Do we have aforementioned multi millionaire benefactor - no! Are we paying that sort of coin to anyone at our club? No.

I look forward to your next forum instalment Finger, direct from your usual source - back of the door in cubicle 1 at the Knox Shopping Centre toilets.

PS. Don't bother ringing the number that says dial Cindy for a good time. I did and it was a Truck Driver from Shepparton called Bruce. I figure you already knew that though.

Maybe you should inform key senior players from your club that this isn't the case. They seemed to have mixed emotions on the significant increase to keep him.

Maybe I'm wrong but then again it's not me who doesn't think it's windy at Gembrook.:thumbsu:

mate your name says it all you are a joke yes we both played on the same ground but both teams agreed that the wouldnt of bothered them that 1 side had of hand home ground advantage. and as for gembrook there ground was sensational when we played against kinglake the wind was nothing because it was the same all day and didnt move unlike the widn in our game trust me the better team didnt win. but best of luck today hope they beat emerald and seville to win the flag its always a solid blow to have team from THIS SIDE OF THE HILL WIN A FLAG! ill have fun at deakin reserve next year im pretty sure thats even as well

That's funny. I was at the meeting when the senior coach announced he was staying. No one seemed upset from what I could see, and no one has mentioned they are since.

Had no problems telling us and weren't prompted to do so. Had no issues with Travis as a person or coach but the extra 10k to stick around didn't seem to sit well.

And I'll say again, we are not paying anywhere near the sum you were allegedly told by a senior player. Hearsay is rarely a reliable source of information.

Finger, do you seriously think that I would discuss the specifics of someone's remuneration on a public forum? You quoted some figures and I've stated that they're not accurate.

I wouldn't expect you to and I understand how it must piss you off that these figures getting released publicly but they have and for what it's worth there either on the money or so close it doesn't matter. Very senior players and loyal Gembrook people have no reason to be mischievous with the figures.

Mate I understand your upset/deflated etc from losing, my side got despatched by Gembrook on Saturday afternoon, its hard to take. But I've got to say (please read bolded quote above), from what I saw on Sunday, Yea were miles ahead of you guys. They were too big, their smalls were far too polished. I thought you guys tackled pretty well, maybe that was more noticeable because Yea had alot more footy than you ??? As a neutral observer, trust me "the better team definately won".

As for another of your observations, no-one in Division 1 gives a toss where the winner of Division 2 comes from. Handy if Seville or Emerald won because they're only 20 minutes away. If Alex wins, thats terrific. Our clubs never played against them before and it'll be great to travel up there, and it'll be great to host them. Will miss you though seeing you'll be at Deakin Reserve next year !! Where the hell is that anyway ???

You don't play like a girl...lol jks...you just whinge like one. Flying high doesn't make you awesome pal, doing things for your team does, not walking away from then to go and see if the ball bounces more evenly at 'Deakin Reserve'...lol jks...it's the same dimension ball used on a natural recreation reserve, you'll find it just as difficult.

Also, just to add to the humiliation you have already put on yourself, you played Yea 3 times during the season, and lost the first 2, but yet the better team didnt win. You ACCIDENTLY forget that part? Throughout the season, finals included, they beat you 3-1 on aggregate. I'd say that's pretty convincing?

Hi jks, I think Lance will be happy he does not have to pick a side this week, makes the walk safer to the car after training on Thursday a lot safer. Some good players missing out each week, but that is what you want.

I think he has a slight smile, but will not be over happy until the fat lady sings, still one to go and your mates from Hellgrave are having a fair wack at loading the side up.

The pain from the ones took a lot away on Sunday, just have to get the boys up this week and earn another chance at Emerald
