Many of the moments in footy that are considered the most courageous are when players are going back with the flight. This proposal would effectivly remove those moments from the game.

Well …Adam is a small guy who quite rightly avoided backing into packs while playing. That wasn’t his job.

Defender wise… the game is still about sometimes putting a big body block on a leading forward and taking the hit.
