Tuohys a gun and youll be glad youve got him.

If you can conjure up a pick under 25, he's all yours.
GC is believed to want mature bodied players. While Horlin-Smith is the obvious one to come to mind, whether GC would want him for a pick downgrade 15-20 places in anyone's guess.

If we can secure Gold Coast's second round pick, I'm sure the club would be more than happy to discuss a trade of it to your club for Tuohy's services.

I rate Tuohy and would love to see him in the hoops. Here's hoping we can strike a deal that mutually benefits both clubs.

That's ok, my idiot son, just don't go messing about in the colonies while I have my gin.

Thanks Ma'am :)

Seriously i forgot about that future draft pick trades rule,.which makes trading with Geelong even harder, might have to get a third club involved, maybe we can somehow get one of the Suns first round picks as part of the Everitt/Graham trade and Geelong send Vardy up there. That's what i hope SOS tries to do

Im sure you could find a way to get 21 or 22 off GCS.

That'd have Tuohy in Geelong colors next year.

An outstanding return on a rookie pick who gave great service

As I type I am listening to Sam Maclure on 3AW. He says that Carlton want to retain Gibbs and that they hope to persuade him to stay. Apparently he is happy at Carlton but that bloody wife wants to be near her Mum because the baby is one year old. What a bogan! Why marry a Melbourne based footballer if your main ambition in life is to have kids and live in dreary Adelaide? Pity Bryce didn't trade up by getting a smart Melbourne girl.

Ouch! Cop that, Adelaide!
I dare you to post this on the Crows board. :D

I've invested a lot of man-love in Zach and it sh!ts me to see him moving on just when he's reached his peak. I had viewed him as something of a stalwart. How very, very disappointing.

Not. Happy. At All.

Geelong better be able to make it worth our while.
Perhaps if they have something the Giants want, they could help get the Marchbank-Pickett deal done.

Ok. I am prepared to entertain the possibility of the club wanting to let Tuohy go. I think it is unwise. He has played very well without injury since early 2013!!!

Derwayne and Scoop think Carlton should play hard ball. Scoop says that pick 13 is not enough and that McGovern should be included.

The Board should step in and forbid a trade that is less than overs. It will not be good for the Club and its supporters for it to be done over by Adelaide again!
That's just rubbish. They're a family. Family always comes first.

Anything is possible in isolation - it's whether or not obtaining the pick for Tuohy aligns with our overall list management strategy. That will be the determining factor which decides the exact path we go down.

I know you guys want an early second rounder, but some on our board are suggesting that our late second rounder should do the trick given that Zach is not only out of contract, but has also nominated Geelong as his preferred destination.

Like every trade week, both club's supporters will always be wide of the mark of each other. Personally I can see why you guys would argue his value at a low 20s pick, while I can see Geelong supporters arguing for a mid 30s, given he's OOC and nominated us.

It will be an interesting week, as every trade week is.

If Gibbs leaves, we might be able to offer Zach the money he wants and get him to stay. Weve gotta get our minimum TPP somewhere.

It'd want to be a pick 25 or under.

Where do you see Guthrie's worth at?

Generally the going rate for a player that is one of the best at their position in the league, walking straight into the best 22, coming into their prime, is respectfully more than a late second round pick.

I'm a huge fan of Guthrie, so probably biased, but most definitely a first round draft pick. But I do not wish to see him be part of a trade for any player under any circumstances.
Bearing in mind you have a glut of inside-leaning players and are in need of outside skill/pace and endurance, as well as that we don't want anyone from your list's bottom 20 when we're giving up a quality player, who are you more prepared to part with: Guthrie or Caddy?

Personally I'm happy with a straight swap for Guthrie.
