The leadership group at the bombers have decided to let both players go due to off field indescretions. These problems never got out to the media, but the leadersip group took it upon themselves to make the recomendations. Lets just say both players took a risk as they get tested often enough to know that they are banned.

Well when was it made?
Given that the players left Melbourne the day after the B&F, which was two weeks ago.

At that stage Alvey and Zantuck were still uncertain of their future. Although Alvey had suspicions the writing was on the wall, no decision had been made.

Just ask yourself why Zantuck would be delisted when he is clearly better than Hunt, Henneman and Bolton.

YOU RIGHT RIGHT ABOUT BEING BETTER THAN HENNAMAN AND BOLTON
I THINK THAT HUNT AND ZANTUCK ARE EQUAL

After a big night a few months ago, i ended up at the casino and saw alvey, looking a little under the weather, gambling fairly heavily... Maybe he's a hooked punter?

Interesting comment in the hs this week that the bombers experienced a lot of off field problems this year but managed to deal with most of them in house. Maybe I was on the money.

Specutation.

A jounalist claims to know that there were problems and claims to know they where handled in house, yet does the club the curtious duty of not elaborating. That'll be the day:rolleyes:

Take it from me, as one who works at a newspaper, I'm often told things that NEVER reach the papers. I can quite believe that our leadership group would express negative feelings about a dill like Zantuck. Alvey I know nothing about.
