Zantuck has he played in any game did not play in the wizard cup, did not play again Richmond. he might of had only the 1 game but as we no you can not tell how good Zantuck is in 1 match.


He I feel wont be doing much this year eather.

- Is gonna be very competitive.Thats a very decent 11 core players there. I hate the dons with a damned passion (i mean, i go for Richmond AND Carlton!! Twice The HATE! ) but they are far from being over and done with - finished 5th last season, and nearly got over the Cats - they havent changed that much IMO

I don't care how talented or otherwise Zantuck is, or how well he does at Essendon. One thing we need to do is build some team cohesion, and this is partly done by weeding out any disruptive influences. I see Zantuck as similar to Barry young. Both showed the odd glimpse of talent at Tigerland but both were undisciplined and not particularly popular among other players. Young went to the Bombers where he had a good season or two before falling back to his old form. I'm guessing Zantuck will do the same.

Like every club Essendon has a good best 22.

Hird & Lloyd need to play alot of games between them for the bomers to push for finals football.

They will struggle to make the 8 for mine.

I relise. However I reckon they might struggle this yer.

Everyone is talking about the 'fab 5' in Lions, Port, Saints, Cats, Eagles who'd you expect comming 1-5 or at the least making the 8.

That leaves only 3 spots.

If Sydney stay injury 3 they have a very good side. Melbourne should be able to have another top 8 year while Freo has a very good list. Everyone is taking up Carlton while North will have to come close. If Richmond, Collingwood or the Dogs have a good start I reckon Essendon might well struggle.
