I read recently in the paper (admittedly, it was the 'Tiser) that Jack Steven was a long term injury. Was that wrong?

Yeah he is now listed on our injury list as avaliable after rolling an ankle with Sandy...

The game is virtually free to get in as well as you only have to give a donation and there is a family fun day on at the same time so bring mum and the kids along!

Family fun at Frankston!

The annual 'I Love Frankston' day is on again, this Saturday, April 18 at Frankston Park. Bring the family for a great afternoon of entertainment.

After more than 2000 people enjoyed the festivities last year, the 2009 version is again expected to be a family favourite.

Admission charges have been waived and entry is by a donation, which can be made at the gates, with funds being raised for local charity Woorinyan and the Dolphins.

The Dolphins - in their www.visitfrankston.com jumpers - and new coach Shannon Grant will be playing Sandringham, who will feature a full swag of St Kilda players. With the game to be broadcast live on ABC1 TV, the day is a great promotion of Frankston right around Victoria.

There will be prizes for the best I Love Frankston outfit in the crowd, along with jumping castles, roving characters, Finn the Dolphin, the Hip Cat Circus, Frankston City Band and the Peninsula Folk Club and more. Kids will be challenged on the Frankston Scout's Rope Bridge, while teenagers can enjoy the WHAT? Truck, which features Playstation 3, Wii, X-box, computers, internet access, DVDs, magazines, music and other free activities for young people.

Other attractions include a Rec Footy exhibition game - a mixed, non-contact version of Australian Rules football - little league, raffles and a pie eating competition! To register for this novel competition email: chris.hodgins@frankston.vic.gov.au.

Frankston is taking bookings for its Champagne Luncheon, so why not watch the footy in style! Only $30 per head for a beautiful three-course luncheon plus complimentary champagne from noon until 2pm. What a great way to sit back and watch the game! Be sure to call the Club on 9783 7888 to reserve your table now - it fills up fast!!

'I Love Frankston Day' runs from noon to 4:00pm, Saturday, 18th April at Frankston Park, corner of High and Young Streets in Frankston.

Well Benchy given you're a teenage girl you'll only pull the outfit off if you have a baby bump.

Ah yes. Pram and a baby bump at 16 is always a good look. Might whip out my finest moccassins and leave the regrowth for a few more days. Reckon i got a chance?

Noticed no Raph or Jack S in the team (hope they are only 1 week away).

Gaertner & McGrath out of the team which won by 100 last week? Thought both were OK.

Haretuku didn't manage to push up after a good game in the 2s, although Stanley is in the squad. Hopefully he can get a game and take a couple of hangers for the TV.

Cahill obviously injured?

Begley looked good in the first quarter, didnt get as much in the second.

Heyne looks alright, needs to look where he's kicking though.

Miles had a bit of it, kicked a good goal.

Armo, Eljay, Fisher been a little quiet.

Howard is getting a lot of it, not doing much with it though.

McEvoy a good grab and goal, not much else though.

Stanley hasn't done much.

X aint on track for another BOG at this rate.

Maguire taken a couple good grabs, running off half back. Looks pretty good.

Stanley got a fair few touches in that quarter.

X went on an epic run and would have had an awesome goal but Heyne screwed the handball up!

Armo had more of it that quarter.

And Begley is killing it playing in the back pocket.

The mind boggles as to why Nick Sautner was never picked by an AFL club. Match winner.

Is that Bongos i here in the background??

Maguire showing some mongrel. Brutal tackle which resulted in the Frankston player getting stretchered off.

Choo-Choo. :)

just finished watching the game very entertaining, begley, goose and x are pushing hard for selection, loved some of eljay's in and under work in the third quarter. lynch and heyne have a lot of work to do before they come on. good to see howard's effort, armo did some good things but his effort when he doesn't haven't was lacking at times.

was having the same discussion with my brother. Sautner, Podsiadley and the bloke who plays for the borough (can't remember his name). They're all big bodies, who know how to lead, take grabs and are a beautiful kick at goal.
