Howard, although a rookie now, is still languishing in the VFL reserves after being St.kilda's second round draft pick in 2006 national draft. Was named in the best, but it seems like he will not make it at AFL level.

I think we really need that medium sized half forward presenting across half forward for the saints.
So what role was Goose playing?
Gaertner played in the ruck?
I was at the game and whilst not getting much game time, when on he looked ok, was able to outleap the Box Hill rucks on most occasions and so was Stanley. I know he played all his junior career in the ruck and seemed to know what he was doing.
Goose played mainly CHB but got slightly injured at one stage and went up forward before returning to the backline and wasn't the worst. Thought Sandy just made some bad decisions as in handballing to a guy who had 3 guys next to him and some basic skill errors and only really lost the game in the last half of the third quarter when Box Hill slammed on about 6 goals

The Zebs have a team which should be near the top of the ladder, but do not play as a team and have dropped games they should win.

The truth is he never left the ground and played through what would be severe pain.Anyone at the game notice a certain player go off with a shoulder/collarbone injury?
This certain player being Armo?
Rumour on SS, yeah not the most reliable source, but yeah anyone see anything?
My deepest condolences A2R.
Steven2Riewoldt looks the more attractive option.
Life over.

What garbage ,is that why he has been an emergency for the past 7 weeks and will still be needed before the fat lady sings.more like Maguire2Seniors
but yeah I read that on saintsational, the guy appears to legitimately know Armo. Terrible news but, bad as it may sound, it couldn't have come at a better time. Realistically Armo was unlikely to play this year, especially with us flying.
If true a break might be good for him, give him time to rest up, come back and it a real crack at VFL level just in time to make it back in for the flag assault.
Come off it mate, we've dropped what 2 blokes all year, you really think he was gonna force his way into an undefeated side? Who for? Even when we've had injuries he's been behind others. Not to mention the fact that he hasn't exactly been demanding selection at VFL level... Fact is we are top of the ladder and to put it bluntly his injury is not going to cost us any games this year, better it happen now than when we actually need him. What garbage ,is that why he has been an emergency for the past 7 weeks and will still be needed before the fat lady sings.

Ah grasshopper ,your wisdom astounds us.It's fine to be pro Armo brother, but quit forcing it down everyone's throats. You make him out to be the messiah, when is yet to prove himself.

don't get me wrong, when a player is injured there are no positives. It's bad news but it could have come at a much worse time is all I'm saying.Don't quite know how you can try to put a positive spin on a player being injured.

poor stuff... jeez you'd think I was dancing on his grave. I just thought at such a good time for the club, amongst the inevitable angst I'd point out that all is not lost for us or Armo. But yeah, okay I can see people don't take kindly to any attempt to say an injury is anything but the end of the world, next time I'll stop at 'that's terrible news' like everyone else and not bother. but mate please keep in mind I wasn't in any way trying to say his injury was anything but bad news.thats pretty poor stuff...
